I'll be there! I have a feeling the next few days of work before I leave are going to be unproductive. I cannot wait to get on that plane. And this is my 1,000th post!

That album has aged so well. I actually like it more now, and it's definitely among my top three R.E.M. albums.

Been a tough week for New Orleans with the loss of chef Leah Chase and Dr. John. Those two are irreplaceable. I met Leah Chase once. Her smile said everything a person needed to know about her. She was such a sweetheart. I'm not a huge fan of Dr. John's music, but I respect it and appreciate that I'm very much in the minority with that opinion.

I just want a copy of Warmer, as I have Warm. Surely they'll offer just Warmer at some point, right? And I don't buy vinyl - just CDs.
