Alright, just heard this one yesterday, should be pretty easy, at least I don't think it's very obscure: "Carving "V" for "vandal" on the guilty boy's head"

Until the punishment and cost of ignoring safety outweighs the profits, I don't see anything changing.

I don't care what this one costs, I am there. 11/23 at the Pepsi Center. Thanks for posting those dates.

Plotting my record day strategy although there are really only a few good record stores left in Denver. I really want the blue vinyl Chronic Town EP and the pink vinyl Sonic Youth records, I wonder what my chances are. One of my favorite days of the year.

Checking it out now, thanks!

She could use a few of those new KFC chicken sandwiches.

Anyone else out there married to a "basement musician"?

When I finished my basement we put lots of extra soundproofing around the ducts/vents that tend to channel music around. Seemed to help quite a bit. -
And I like the Broken Bells album.

Welcome, good to have you here!

Pretty much anything surrounding the use of cell phones is annoying to me. People chatting on them while paying for groceries at the store, people swerving all over the road while chatting obliviously, people texting while you are sitting there at a restaurant with them, those little hands free ear things...

I abuse my familys ears on a weekly basis. -
Gang of Four have an album coming out in the summer. You can also pledge to Amnesty international and pick up some cool stuff. Gang of Four

Amazing set list. How do you even decide what to play when you have a body of work like that? I envy you getting to see that show.

Getting geared up for the show in 2 weeks.

This! And that video of Lerche and Auer is so cool. What a ridiculously good song that is.

Opened for Spoon (before Deerhunter) last night and I thought they were interesting so I bought the CD.

Any initial thoughts on this yet? Is it worth my time? Just picked this one up over the weekend.
-
Dr. Dog will be on Jimmy Fallon on 4/6/10.

Maybe it's my monitor but that lollapalooza puzzle hurts my eyes. The Mile High music fest line up will be announced on April 5th but it never fails to be just awful. And yet I hold out a little hope.

I'm not sure I have heard anything by Molly Hatchet other than Dreams and Flirting with Disaster. Really have not heard much by Marshall Tucker either (other than the usual radio suspects) despite being called Marshall Tucker by people all my life (same first name and all).
-
I'm not going to lie, I also really like the Molly Hatchet version. Great guitar solo in it. I spent a lot of time learning that solo note for note.

Very cool, thanks so much!
