Dipping a toe into the world of electronics

The one thing about the 52 Tele is it has a weird capacitor in it that I had removed (I think most people get them removed). I think the intent was to allow you to get a fat bass sound on it but it ends up making the neck pickup sound muddy. Any good guitar repair shop is going to know about them and it's a simple thing to get rid of. It's worth getting a professional set up on it anyways as it's a bit tricky with the rounded fingerboard but with a good set up it stays in tune and plays amazing. I play on the bridge pickup most the time anyway but I like the neck sound without the capacitor be -

Imagine working in a place where you have to hear the riff to "Enter Sandman" played badly 25 times a day. I would highly recommend playing a new standard Tele and the 52 reissue tele side by side. I was actually amazed at the difference. Not that one is so much better but depending on what you are looking for it was no contest for me. The 52 just had that "twang" or whatever it's called, that classic tele sound. Of course if you don't want to spend the money then it would not be a good idea to test drive it. You may love it. -
Alright, I will put them on the top of my netflix list, been meaning to anyways. There is only so much pop culture a body can keep up with. I'm not a huge TV watcher.

I think if you don't like "From a compound eye" you may just not like Pollard but I also think Isolation Drills is a good place to start for a newbie. A little more accessible for some people.

A rare journey into studio dead.

I am not an early bird by any means but I don't get the whole Snooze alarm thing. I would just lay there and curse the universe how short 7 minutes is. Or just get back to sleep only to be rudely awoken. I jump up as soon as the alarm goes off. Of course I will probably die of a heart attack someday by doing that.

Is that David Cross?

Sounds like a great use of my time. Game on! Edit: Wow, that was harder than I thought it would be. My only hope is that nobody else enters.
