Agreed, it misses that tension and release thing, but overall it would be a great surprise to hear someone bust this out like that. Very enjoyable.

I have just read some reviews where they talked about Peter Silberman sequestering himself away from everyone to write and record it. It is an intense album.

Ok, I have been jamming along to Bertha from Winterland 77 for the last 2 hours trying to sound like Jerry. Not happening yet, his greatness eludes me. Damn fun song to play along with though. I have now officially stolen several of his licks.

Our Bacon is still better though. I actually love the winter olympics. The downhill skiing where they just go balls out at the edge of control. The Luge where a slight twitch can cause you to lose by 0.001 seconds. The curling has not drawn me in however.

Just started Kitchen Nightmares by Anthony Bourdain. Apparently I need to buy a "global" knife for my cooking needs. And never order fish on Monday.

It's funny, the only time I hear anything from this is when it randomly pops up on my MP3 player. I always like what I hear but never just sit and listen to the album as a whole.
