Just got this on vinyl for $2.00 in great shape.

Awesome, thanks so much. Nothing like a personal recommendation from someone with real experience. I'm going for it!

OK, I pretty much have it narrowed down to: Audio Technica ATH M50's Sennheiser HD-280's Sony MDR 7506 Grado SR-60i I think I'm going to rule out the SR-60i because I want the more wrap around type of cans. These seem like they would get uncomfortable quicker. Plus I want closed instead of open. (Is there really that big a difference with open headphones sound quality wise?) All the reviews say the Sennheisers tend to be uncomfortable, especially for people with a big melon like myself so I think I'm ruling that one out. That leaves the Audio Technica or Sony. Any reason to pick o

I have had this on my wish list on Amazon forever but could never pull the trigger. I have too many guitars already and the price of this one makes me wonder about the quality. But I still want it.

Well that's certainly some terrible news to face this morning. What a great songwriter.

A hearty congratulations!

I can't imagine he will be around after Christmas. They should never have passed up the option on Mike D'Antoni, you get what you pay for.

I listened to my Ray Charles Christmas Album today and his "That Spirit of Christmas" is just a great song. Same one Chevy is listening to while stuck in the attic in Christmas vacation. I actually like the Macca christmas song but then again he can't do much wrong in my eyes. I admit the keyboards sound extremely dated in that song.

Speaking of Pink Floyd, I just read an interview with Alan Parker (directed the wall) and he had some interesting things to say about Roger Waters. Apparently Roger was considered for the lead part in that but Parker said Roger had "More Albert Speer than Albert Finney in him". I thought that was pretty funny.

I am loving the Netflix streaming but it's keeping me up until 3 am every night. I started watching Office episodes because they are shorter but I end up watching like 5 of them by the time I'm done so it comes out the same.

I was fortunate to see them open for Wilco at Red Rocks and they tore it up. They were really good. Great live sound.

Actually this is a pretty adventurous list if you go by what most people I know listen to.
-
Just picked these up used.

I can't imagine that I'm really going to like it. The last 2 MOJO magazine's have had remakes of the entire Wall album. Some of them very well done and interesting but I really doubt I will be pulling them out to listen ever again. But I do want to hear it.

I would add "Nobody's fault" as well. I have listened to Rocks far more than any other Aerosmith record.

Man, that's a tough one for me. I have listened to both albums about equally over the years. I honestly don't know which one I would choose for the desert island. -
Sadly I have no idea what makes one rap artist better than another.

I love the Elvis Christmas stuff. Highly recommend this one:

Wow, something for my 2010 best of list already. This sounds so good.

Just streamed this on Netflix. Some great footage and interviews with the band.

I got to see Joe Live with the Mescaleros, never saw the Clash. The concert was a life changer though. It's my oldest daughters favorite artist which makes me very proud.

Test me, test me, test me, Why don't you arrest me? Throw me in to the jailhouse, (and don't pass go either).

Have a great birthday.

I have 4 of those albums. How is Booker T. Jones uncool?

I liked her but I never thought she looked particularly healthy. I wonder if it was some sort of congenital thing? Or heart Virus? I hate to always jump to the drugs thing. Very sad, though, someone so young.
