I try to give a few bucks here and there. I have a brother with some mental illness issues who is lucky enough to have a safety net. Without that he would likely be in a similar situation. When I worked in Berkeley it was tough as there was someone every 3 feet asking for money.

The new RS review for Eminems record talks about aging hip hop stars trying to figure out "what to do with their dad ass selves." Then says "its like hip hop is the new Wilco or something". Damn dad rock label.

That was the best line up. I always thought it was strange that Hendrix had another guitar player (Noel) playing bass instead of a real bass player. Not that Noel was a bad bass player by any means. And I definitely prefer Mitchell's drum style to Buddy Miles for a 3 piece.

I use the Fulltone myself so never tried these ZVEX either but they sure seem to be showing up in a lot of guitar players boards: http://www.zvex.com/index62013.html Not even sure if they make an overdrive. And I have never used a compressor in my life, always wondered if I should get one. Not much help am I?

Will do, does seem like the G is the worst offender. I do use pencil lead in all my other guitars but have not actually changed the strings on this one myself yet so have not done it. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks for the tips on the Tweedy. I love the guitar and can tell it's well built. This is the first Gibson I have evern owned and certainly the first kind of guitar with this type of vibrato. I did have a luthier look at it and he did say he needed to file the nut sluts and the nut height down so I thought that would take care of it but there is still an issue. I was starting to suspect the vibrato but it sounds like others are not having issues so maybe it's still the nut or tuners. I had someone recommend putting a bone nut on it because you can basically polish those until they are fri

Maybe the argument is that Miles was more instrumental in the creation of Fusion so at least has some influence on rock music? I don't pretend to understand how they decide who qualifies.
