Wow, this is sounding amazing. Streaming at NPR: Wanda Jackson

Pitchfork gave this one an 8.4. I was underwhelmed on first listen but I'll give it another spin.

Really? I had not heard that George complained about the bass. Just amazing bass playing. It's like a bass solo behind the guitar solo.

Is this yet a new one? How is it? NP:

I guess I see it from a different perspective. I think atheists have much more religion thrown in their face on a daily basis. And even though you personally don't try to change atheists into believers, conversion is a huge tenet of many people's religion. I have never had someone show up at my door trying to convert me to atheism. I don't have friends posting on facebook how happy they are today that god is not in their life. I certainly would not try to convert anyone either way but I could see from an atheists perspective, religion has caused a myriad of ills in society (you know what

Most sports interviews are so worthless and platitude filled, it's nice when someone shows genuine emotion.

I thought it was transcendent. Especially Band of Horses which is rapidly becoming my favorite band. Glad I caught it on DVR. I say keep trying, both bands have some amazing music.

I tend to let my ipod just load and play randomly all the time so I do run into things I have not listened to. I really only listen to it when I'm excercising. Lately I load as much new stuff as I can on a flash drive and listen to them at work. When I have the option, I almost always listen to an entire album at a time. I agree with Tinnitus, it's usually the entire live concerts that I ambitiously download and never get around to listening to.

$5000 seems excessive to me.

I'll root for you, unless I go in on it. I didn't see when the drawing is? I wonder if Neko's footprints are still on it.

Yeah, what was wrong with the lyrics? I thought they were great. The lyrics to streetlights were brilliant (as one example). -

Can't wait for this. I'm not going to lie, I will be looking for a leak sooner than April. -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK9QVN0bpa4 I know there are haters out there but I unapalogetically love this song. But that is beside the point, this song has a monster bass line in it.

Edit: Meh

Band of Horses ACL I enjoyed it.

I don't really care about the Grammy's but Colbert's show on his picks was priceless with The Black Keys and Ezra from Vampire Weekend facing off in a "Sell out off" (pointing out what commercials have featured their songs). Ezra: I'll knock those ironic glasses right off your face! Dan Auerbach: "Bring it Cape Cod"! (or something like that) http://www.colbertnation.com/home

On a Band of Horses kick while I wait for the next big thing.

I actually just ordered that from Amazon although I went super saver shipping so it could be awhile before I get it.

Great pics, thanks for the link!
