  1. I saw them not long ago and they were great but it was before I was able to listen to this album. Now I want to see them again, I am loving this album.
  2. I remember reading that they only spend 1 day recording. I thought it was just "I'm Losing you" and maybe one Yoko song but I could be wrong. The article I read said John loved what they did but Yoko was not happy with it so it was re-done.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0PZbDn0Ptk&feature=player_embedded Lanois track by track on the new album.
  4. Just picked up tix to see them in November.
  5. Stick Physical Graffiti in your butt I say stick Animals in your butt I say stick the white album in your butt.
  6. Especially after the Yankees somehow aquire Lincecum, Lee, and Halladay in the offseason.
  7. 77.8% - Way better than I expected. I'm guessing the 50/50 chance helped me out a few times.
  8. Wow, this is awesome, it's like my dream station so far. Just heard Tom Thumbs blues, a Beirut song, an MGMT song, and Marquee Moon (currently). Thanks so much for this link.

  11. Don't really like anything else they have ever done but I love this album.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3p2hnmgYnhs I just love when Leon comes in at about 2:00. I never tire of this song.
  13. Sounding pretty good so far, nice vocal harmonies. Really digging Killer African Bees.
  14. Ah, it was just a bad joke as usual. Reference to the over rated discussion. But I do take exception to the "Dogs" from Pink Floyd Animals statement from someone. Animals is one of my few choices for albums that I would not change a note. Dogs is epic.
  15. Leon Russel was actually on Bobby "Boris" Pickets song Monster Mash. Yes, he was one of the Crypt kickers. His legend grows.
  16. Lamrod, I'm blown away. Seriously, this is just really good stuff. If I could write music like this I would quit my job and start touring right now. I love the fact that this is a really good guitar album. You get some amazing tones, both clean and heavy, some really good feedback moments. It sounds really polished like you spent a hell of a lot of money and time on it. Some great duel guitar stuff (you find a new guitar player? I seem to remember the old one left?) Hell even the sequencing seems well thought out. What's really impressive to me are the melodies throughout. Seems like ev
