I have been (Trieste and Venice), and I am very envious of you and wish that I was there right now.

I'm a big fan of Patton Oswalt, so I'm happy for him getting to do something like this. Other than that though, I agree that well-known voices are usually not a selling point for me for an animated movie.

Unacceptable. He's going to need to work on that. It looks good from here, anyway! How big is the picture? Try to e-mail it to me at maudiemcc(at)hotmail.com, and I'll get it posted.

Hello! I was hoping we'd get to see that picture! And sorry for stepping on any request that your little one had been about to make...

Church Street and the farmers market must have been packed with Wilco fans that day! Wilco most definitely supports taping and trading. Check out the Greatest Lost Track of All Time subforum for trades and downloads. And welcome to VC!

Nice! And I see some familiar backs of heads in a couple of those. The kicking-out from soundcheck was a laugh, wasn't it? As if just herding us all back up the hill was going to make that much difference... Welcome to VC!

No worries, it happens to the best (and worst) of us.

The combination of the beautiful outdoor setting and the huge kid contingent really did make for a very cool night.

I'm going to suggest this in the cafepress thread! It's always so weird to meet people in "real life". I think my favorite part of the night was when Dave was doing the mental calculations required to combine several different people in his head into "Peter", the guy standing right there.

I know you said you've read the FAQs, but did you check out this thread? There's a get-started tutorial at the top, and then several different links for help with getting connected. Hopefully you'll find something in there to help you out.

Muzzle of Bees made me do this . Twice.

Hey, me too! Thanks again for setting me up. Also, I was there with a friend who had never seen Wilco before, and he had a great time. We had no problems with the crowd, people around us were friendly and into the show, and he wanted to hear California Stars, so it was a good night for us.

Yes, it certainly was. Oh my god, I got to meet Sir Stewart!!!
-
Or sometimes, one poster for three or four shows, like maybe Red Bank/Northampton/Manhattan/Brooklyn?
-
Most people probably saw the e-mail yesterday (and I really hope I didn't miss a thread on this; I searched, I promise! ), but the wilcoworld news page has this little blurb right at the top: Can't go wrong with the food banks, and the 826 programs are a particular favorite of mine, so this looks like a cool deal.

Glen and Marketa on Carson Daly August 1 (actually, early morning August 2...)

Yeah, apparently someone missed this post. (Actually, I missed it the first time around, too. Congrats, Rob! )

Happiest of happies, Eric!

Yeah, that is crazy. I think the last time they played the Greek, people who lined up an hour or two before doors got pretty good spots.

That site works wonderfully. I've got a demo version of a song by my cousin's band, so it's unique, when my phone rings the rest of their world doesn't go diving for their own phones. And I just like the song too, my nieces and nephew say it sounds like "spooky circus music". I've also got a bunch of Star Wars themes that came with the phone (oh, I'm such a geek...), so one of my options is "he doesn't like you... I don't like you either!". And then I've downloaded Hoodoo Voodoo (through the above site), and the themes from Law and Order and Days of Our Lives from a general ringtones site

Hey, I didn't know you had pregnant lady feet! Congratulations! I'm also sorry I couldn't make it, but I'm glad those seats went to a happy home.

There's a standing area on the floor, then benches behind that, then the lawn.

I have not seen an e-mail with a new password, and the last musictoday pre-sales did not require a special password. You do have to have a musictoday login (with your own username and password), so if you don't have that already, I'd suggest setting that up before the sale time.
