  2. instead, it's based on time of arrival, which, unlike height, is easily influenced.
  3. Sparky, I'm sorry you are inferring other meanings than how others are interpreting these posts...seems pretty clear to me, but maybe not i guess. anyway, just speaking for myself, i find that while the situation is obviously less than ideal, i feel pretty powerless to do anything about it, or change my habits in reaction to it. i live on the east coast, so i would think (perhaps naively) that air-borne radiation is of little to no risk. i think i recall that you live here as well, but maybe not... but what would you personally do if you lived in Japan, or California? how would you change wh
  4. i think this is quite different from what you posted:

  8. Chicago looks to be an aberration...maybe booking two shows there was a mistake, and they should have done one...take a look at the rest of the remaining dates. not many tickets on Stubhub. http://www.stubhub.com/neil-young-tickets/

  10. songs that wouldn't make my top 30 she's a jar hate it here one by one war on war hummingbird ones that would: hotel arizona side with the seeds magazine called sunset you are my face say you miss me theologians and poor places are certainly in the top 10.
  11. Toronto, Chicago and Detroit residents, pay heed. i caught the show Tuesday and it was great; nice to see they've added a couple of bodies to the 4 piece lineup so that the live experience can live up to the recorded evidence. http://www.grailsongs.com/ "GRAILS is the premier instrumental rock act of the upper Northeast Portland area. An emerging new artist, ready to take the word by storm!"
  12. if there are as many tickets on the market as you claim, finding a ticket below face value shouldn't be hard at all.
  13. the arugula and prosciutto pizza w/ shaved parm that i had in rome was the best pizza ever. i am not a fan of deep-dish pizza.
  14. do you know anyone who actually was inside the venue during the show?
  15. the Pixies sing a couple of songs in Spanish...as do Japanese grindcore/doom band Corrupted.
  16. i was hoping for some of the Krautrock persuasion, but couldn't think of any...
  17. i think some people might have missed the 'sing in a different language' portion of this thread... anyway, two of my favorites are Dungen (Swedish) and Boris (Japanese). i'm trying to think of any bands who sing in German... i suppose i could count SFA's _Mwng_ as well (in Welsh).
  18. Whatever happened to Redpillbox? I liked that perspective between the first and second covers records. I am liking the prospect of Marshall-penned songs again
  19. i'd never heard this song before, and while doing some mp3 maintenance i happened to come across a link that compared that particular song to another one, one that had real hairy balls. i tend to agree quite heavily w/ the blog writer. http://lamestainnorthwest.blogspot.com/2009/07/historia-del-la-musica-tad-pt-v.html
