hey, i was looking @ the photo assignments for prefixmag today and noticed someone already claimed SSF...turns out it was you!

forgetting each night's headliner, i am hard pressed to figure out who of the next three font sizes i'd be interested in seeing over the weekend... 1st night...probably black keys (who i've seen) and cee-lo green 2nd night...the kills (woh i've seen) and erykah badu (perhaps BAD from purely a nostalgia angle) 3rd night...PJ Harvey (who i saw w/ John Parish but not solo), maybe The National (i've seen a couple of times). of all the bands there that i'd want to see and already haven't, it's pretty much just Warpaint, Menomena, Joy Formidable and Tame Impala.

meh...looks awful to me.

maybe moving to TX has adversely affected your ability to differentiate between 'lose' and 'loose' btw, anyone who refers to a local team as 'we/us' needs some help.

shit talking w/ passion is no excuse for being an out-an-out asshole like Rex Ryan is (and can you give me an example of passionless shit talk? i'm having a hard time coming out w/ one). i will fully admit the Jets certainly played a better game than the Pats. if one game defines an ass kicking, so be it. btw, i hope cromartie's playoff bonus can help w/ some of the child support woes he's had...he's certainly trying to become a founding father of our country.

they are a bunch of shit-talking idiots who out-played the Pats, totally following in the style of their boorish coach. i really hate the Steelers too, so i hope for a full IR list for whoever plays the NFC team.

DOA and The Subhumans are the ones that immediately come to mind.

i know i've downloaded tons of live shows from dime that i've never listened to.

hopefully. i haven't put in for the show yet, but will probably do that next week. i got tickets as my wife and her sister wanted to go. shooting @ the Wilbur is a PITA, though...

i am being willfully obscure here...i just thought it was funny that there could be two scenarios where 'Jack Frost' could produce a record by 'Jakob'

Jakob is a NZ-based post-rock band a la Mogwai, and Jack Frost was the collaboration between Grant McClennan and Steve Kilbey, so it's half-possible.

possibly Helmet's "Unsung" as well, though that was unusually melodic for that band. I dig playing "Mountain Song" on guitar hero.

Led Zeppelin 2 is playing here next week...i saw the vocalist play w/ his regular band Yakuza last year. might be good for a laugh or two

that's gotta suck when you can't even browse the bins anymore. btw, i think the KT box was 'limited' to 5000 copies...which is a lot. most of the limited stuff i buy is 1000 or less (granted the band's popularity is typically less as well).
