Jason is one of my all-time favorites. Agreed with TCP above that S:O's Magnolia Electric Co. and Didn't It Rain are the two I play most often, but I also really love Pyramid Electric Co. too. The Lioness is another gem (Lioness & Coxcomb Red are among my favorite songs). One of my biggest regrets was not seeing him live. I had tix to see a show in Cambridge, MA and couldn't find anyone to go with me and so I just skipped it. Never had another chance.

Jeff Ullrich bought that one I think. Marc was in attendance, as was Scott Aukerman (https://www.instagram.com/p/BCmcyEuGZ5q/) and a few others.

I've been tweeting at Marc for years asking him to interview Jeff and/or Ryan Adams. Maron can grate on me on occasion, but when he's invested in someone, he's an excellent interviewer. He's at his best when he deviates from standard interview questions, which I think is pretty often. Keeping my fingers crossed that this happens!

I don't believe that that's true. I bought a pair of balcony tix before lucking into a pair of VIP tix, and the balcony make no mention of a meet & greet. The VIP tickets, on the other hand, do.

MountainGerbil, that's some excellent advice. My father was really into Hi-Fi when I was growing up and so he put together a little stereo for me that I still use ~20 yrs later, with minor changes. I have just two comments: 1. While my stereo isn't airplay/bluetooth compatible, if you do decide to go vintage, you can always connect a device to your integrated amp via a 3.5mm cable. I have a very old NAD integrated amp, and so one of my inputs is the 3.5mm cord which I plug into my iPhone or old iPod. 2. agreed - and it's at the shittiest venue in the city. i too wasn't crazy about the single, but am in love with the album. halls of sarah and sleep all summer are my favorites for now.
