  1. Didn't Scott play with Jeff during his solo set in 2010? Family Gardener maybe? Would love for a Jeff/Scott Dear Employer.
  2. I'm worried about Ryan. I hope that he gets the help that he needs. This is, of course, not an excuse for terrible behavior. It'll be hard for me to put on any of his albums any time soon, that's for sure. What a shame.
  3. No outcry from me. It is interesting, though, that they do a pretty short European run in June and then return again 3 months later. The only show I'm aware of in between is Jeff's solo spot at NFF. Maybe the US will see some Wilco shows in July/August? Oh no, is this turning into an outcry?!
  4. Yeah, but what an opportunity to see Tropical Fuck Storm and Hillbilly Moon Explosion on the same bill!
  5. Orchestra pit row CC - seats 301 and 302. FV was $205 total for the pair. Venmo/PayPal preferred. Can email the PDFs over. Thanks!
  6. Today, Ryan Adams shared “Fuck The Rain” – the lead single from #BIGCOLORS. Download/stream the track, which features a guitar solo by John Mayer and Benmont Tench on the organ, here: https://ryanadams.lnk.to/FTheRainFP. “Check out this song it’s cool. Or don’t-we all might die trump is president. I love you, sincerely Ryan Adams.”
  7. A really wonderful performance. Cars Can’t Escape and VC were particularly beautiful. Another highlight was Family Ghost, which I cannot wait to hear on the forthcoming Warmer. From my vantage point it looked like the show was being video recorded. Was that the case for night 1 too?
  8. Jeff will be playing solo at Newport Folk Festival on Saturday, July 27. ISO: 2 tix!
  9. I cannot keep up with the Tweedy content lately, but I'm glad I read this one... Fun little interview. Thanks for sharing.
  10. This is a very minor detail, but I noticed during the Colbert performance (& Saturday's live stream) that Spencer's kick drum has art that looks to be inspired by Let's Go Rain. When I saw that I assumed that he had it done b/c he'd be touring behind the album too. And re: another new album... I was just telling someone the other day how lucky I am that my favorite songwriter is so prolific. Jeff's output is so great (both in quantity and quality) & he doesn't seem to be slowing down.
  11. Sorry if I was curt - I didn’t mean to be but it might read that way. Those 2013 Largo shows are my most listened to Roadcases. I have the banter memorized at this point. I understand how special those shows are and I’m sorry you missed out this time around. Generally speaking, I think the band’s new model of announcing shows and having a presale two days later is good for fans as it gives scalpers less time to prepare. Unfortunately, it means that if you don’t follow the band on social media and are really “tuned in” there’s a chance of missing out - especially when the venue is a shoeb
  12. I believe it seats 130.
  13. Those shows were announced nearly a month ago and sold out in minutes.
  14. I'm really loving the newly released I Know What It's Like. One fun little lyrical connection between that song and Some Birds: Some Birds In my window/I have a twin/I look out/He looks in/He has a point/I applaud/Oh my goodness/Oh my god I Know What It's Like When the lights are dim/In my window I have a twin/I’m always looking out/And he’s always looking in
  15. I had a really nice time last night at the book talk. Those three songs were a real tease, though. Would've loved to have heard a couple more ;-) My favorite topic was one that I've heard Jeff cover elsewhere, but was especially well said last night. This is a crude retelling, but he mentioned something about a dichotomy between creativity and destruction, and how he wishes everyone had a creative outlet because it's much more difficult, if you're creating, to also be "destructing." I'm not doing the sentiment any justice with my retelling, but that really stuck with me. It was a real treat
  16. I’m attending Boston show in a few days. Has anyone seen any mention of who is moderating that one?
  17. Wilco will be playing at Azkena Rock Festival - June 22 & 23, 2019 in Vitoria-Gasteiz https://www.azkenarockfestival.com/en/
  18. True, but it also means that I can't buy a ticket on the secondary market if I strike out. Not that I want to give scalpers my money.
  19. Already nervous about pulling Largo tix. At 2pp and will call only, it's going to be tough!
  20. Anyone buying VIP? I'm really torn... It's the surprise pop up that is most incentivizing.
  21. Jason is one of my all-time favorites. Agreed with TCP above that S:O's Magnolia Electric Co. and Didn't It Rain are the two I play most often, but I also really love Pyramid Electric Co. too. The Lioness is another gem (Lioness & Coxcomb Red are among my favorite songs). One of my biggest regrets was not seeing him live. I had tix to see a show in Cambridge, MA and couldn't find anyone to go with me and so I just skipped it. Never had another chance.
  22. Jeff Ullrich bought that one I think. Marc was in attendance, as was Scott Aukerman (https://www.instagram.com/p/BCmcyEuGZ5q/) and a few others.
