  1. Interesting article. He's shitting the bull there quite a bit though. I've always preferred Love Is Hell over Heartbreaker and Gold.
  2. I thought so also. I normally would not buy such a thing, but since some of it was filmed at the show I was at - I suppose I may get it eventually.
  3. That photo makes me think of The Basement Tapes album cover.
  4. Neil Peart Taking Center Stage: Lifetime of Live Performances
  5. There was filming at the show I was at also. It was for the DVD Neil is putting out.
  6. For those that have the channel -
  7. That's about the only song I really care for on that album. I think that may have been one of last cassettes I bought.
  8. You definitely need to get those albums. I've always thought that Michael was not really into music - outside of Patti Smith. I saw a post on Facebook that said he has some sort of disease? I also didn't even know they had put out a greatest hits cd.
  9. Thanks for the clarification. I made a thread for the torrent.
  10. I guess this is why he canned the Buffalo Springfield tour: Neil Yound Releasing Autobiography Nex t Year
  11. My first thought is the old album sounds better. The new cd isn't so bad. But - they have changed some of the tracks. When I say toilet paper, that's when you come rolling out.
  12. Both nights are out there to be had in FLAC form. Check the BT section of the Via Chicago. As for recent shows - you just have to wait until they appear.
  13. It's madness. But - I keep buying them.
  14. Did anyone get the Winterland box and Hendrix In The West? I will be checking them out when I get home today.
  15. It goes back to the time when he was posting videos on Vimeo and letting people comment on them. He would sometimes interact with people there. He is sort of doing the same thing now - by way of his Facebook page.
  16. The other connection being that Pat was on the Heartbreaker album.
  17. Another connection to Ryan Adams - Tom has worked on several Ryan Adams records.
  18. Although I have not really listened to them in a while, I still think the old stuff is great. I figure if they were not going to tour, then they were not going to make any money. The days of 80 million dollar record contracts are long over. Swan Swan H and Driver 8 are probably still my favorite R.E.M. songs.
  19. My first thought was it reminded me of four Beach Boys songs: County Fair/Country Air/Busy Doin' Nothin'/Heroes and Villains. I have not listened to the stream that much - but I like that song.
  20. Sundazed recently put out the John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers albums Bluesbreakers With Eric Clapton/A Hard Road/Crusade. They do really good work.
  21. I figured they would take them down. I've noticed the other stuff that gets released (Dick's Picks/Road Trips) is left on there for streaming only. I'd like to have some of those shows. I think the only one I have from that tour is Hundred Year Hall.
  22. It's still funny to me that they are putting these shows out with such great care and quality, and people are demanding Mp3 downloads. What other band could put out that many cds and probably not really be all that interested in how much they sell? I bet some people who bought the giant box set are pissed that all the shows are coming out now individually.
  23. It looks like all of the Europe '72 shows are coming out individually: Maybe Calvino can tell us which ones he thinks are the best.
