By the way, I was at my neighbor's house a couple of months ago and he broke out the vinyl "The Song Remains the Same" EP on his super awesome sound system and cranked it up. We were drinking and smoking and I completely fell in love with Zeppelin -- all over again. Not as much as Jimmy Page this time though; completely all about the rhythm section more this time around.

I rank them according to when I enjoy listening to them: Spring Presence In Through the Out Door Houses of the Holy Early Summer Houses of the Holy Summer Physical Graffiti Fall I II Winter IV Dead of Winter III

Willie Nelson is the man. Just sayin'

Agreed. I would not let the possibility of someone talking stop me from going anywhere. If I did, the chatty terrorists will have truly won.

I concur with the above reviews. His first set was only about 45 minutes long. I was disappointed that he only played for about and hour or so. It was nice to be home by 11:00 here too. He was awesome though.

Leaving for the Birchmere in 1/2 hour! Can't wait for tonight's show!

I could. No clues, nothing.

I started out with Summerteeth. I suited me well and I knew that Wilco was it for me about the 8th note in.

If anyone wants to convert to MP3 and YSI it I would appreciate it.

I wonder if you wait to pre-order directly through wilcoworld Tweedy ultimately gets more money in his pocket. While I have not been a Wilco completist for a long time I guess if I had to give the money to someone I would want to give as much as possible to Tweedy himself.

I was hoping for this too. Except that Nels and Glenn have a show the same day in Columbus OH.

My sentiments exactly.

I completely forgot about this. First time in 6 years or so that I will miss a 9:30 show.

That's what I have always thought. Also, does M. Ward's "Big Boat" remind anybody of this song? I kind of thought it was an M. Ward tip of the hat to that song.

I'm doing my first Fantasy league this year. I scored 121.92 points. So far I'm ahead of the whole league but there are still some players for tonight for other teams. The team that I'm matched up against (106.40) this week only has kicker R. Longwell left for tonight. So unless he has his career game, I'm pretty much locked in for a win tonight and could quite possibly be the league points leader! Here's my roster: D. Bledsoe (Dal - QB) C. Johnson (Cin - WR) A. Boldin (Ari - WR) L. Johnson (KC - RB) J. Shockey (NYG - TE) P J. Lewis (Bal - RB) P D. McAllister (NO - RB) K.

10 albums you must hear this autumn...
WilcoFan replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Someone Else's Song
Does this magazine actually think you should buy and listen to 10 different albums this winter? How can someone truly appreciate that many albums at once? Mars Volta is pretty good by the way. -
Perhaps they were once aquaintances on the Cali music scene.

The The - Lonely Planet. Not only does it end the song, but ends the whole album. Awesome Gm bar chord.

Same here. I think most of the product from the demos was recorded in Austin, TX while a lot of the synth overly-produced sound (which I love) was recorded in Chicago with just Jeff and Jay. I think I read that in the book. It's been at least a year since I read the book though.

No Grateful Dead mentioned yet. Terrapin Station Part 1 - 16:17

There's only 2 goals (No pun intended.): Stop when the whistle blows and don't touch the ball with your hands.

My wife and I are coaching soccer this year for our sons' under age 4 league. I can't wait!

Great review! I am so excited for next Friday! Great setlist too.

A japanese baby girl perhaps?

I'm going to the Birchmere show. I'm very excited.
