I absolutely agree with this. I think it is important to also add to this conversation that there is no revenue for recording artists to be had through sale of that recording any longer other for the biggest of the big (Taylor S etc). This may not apply to bands like Wilco who never made much money (or so they claimed) through the music as much as it applies to bands like Pearl Jam or Jack White where record sales used to generate a substantial amount of revenue. I bought tickets through the presale. Reserved Center Row 15. Said it on the screen as I was buying and of course on my receipt. My understanding is that Red Rocks sets up in a number of configurations. I too wish there had been more info as to what the configuration was to be.

Jazzfest site lists the fest as 11 AM to 7 PM. Is that correct? Wilco will be done by 7? I am flying in and trying to figure out how late it is possible to arrive. The Heritage Fair takes place at the Fair Grounds Race Course, centrally located at 1751 Gentilly Boulevard, 10 minutes from the French Quarter. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Email said the 9th. Wilcoworld lists all three days.
