Zeppelin won't reunite, what Plant said in Australia about 2014 doesn't mean that the band would reform. Other than himself, who knows what the comment actually mean? It was a tragic year for music, having lost all those artists, they're irreplaceable. But on the other hand I don't remember seeing quite a busy year in music, not in recent memory at least. All the Led Zeppelin activity, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys... Zeppelin had been dormant since the O2 concert and this year they were featured prominently in almost every print or electronic media. At the same time, I heard that it wasn't such a bad year for album sales, I remember reading that there had even been a rebound compared with CD sales of say 2009.

If there's something I like about California (Los Angeles area at least) is the weather, never too extreme, but then again I have lived in countries of extreme weather, from very harsh and cold winters to tropical places where the sun never seems to rest. On the occasions that I visited California, in June for example, I could walk around the beach and enjoy the warm weather, not too hazy as, say, Houston, Atlanta or even New York. Thanks a lot for all these recommendations, I plan to give a listen to some of them. Personally, I don't listen to albums from beginning to end, not that often, I listen random songs as they come up on the iPod, plus with today's extremely busy lifestyle it's becoming more and more difficult to take the time to listen to a CD. My perfect album is perhaps "Time Out" by Dave Brubeck I never get tired of it despite the passage of time.

I'm hoping the new I Was a King gets released soon in North America, in Norway was made available last year.
