  1. I am disappointed that the I-Pods, once again, only go up to 160 gigs. I have a 160 gig i-pod but I am out of space: I need a bigger hard drive.
  2. My wife and I just finished watching season 3 and really liked it a lot better than season 2 (which we only liked a little bit). It's more of my wife's show than mine but it's good.
  3. Well, I am going to re-tag them in proper order. When I bought them, they were interspersed through The Search wherever their original tagging was...It's up next on my queue. But now I am listening to this: Great so far. Not as awesome as Emoh but it's really cool nonetheless. He had written Emoh for so long that the songs couldn't be anything but excellent. It was a good synthesis of his solo work. However, Goodnight Unknown sounds like he's stretching a little and the hype seems justified (sounds like later-day Folk Implosion, which I like).
  4. Really, I guess I haven't given it a fair shake. Now that I am sick and am gonna be out of work for a few days, I can see me giving it another try.
  5. The Search deluxe edition. You can pick up the bonus tracks on i-tunes if you don't want to find the LP. I picked them up a few weeks back with a gift card...they're pretty decent but nothing mind-blowing.
  6. Dude, is that a new one? You should really check his other stuff out especially West of Rome and Is the Actor Happy. NP: The Antlers - Hospice
  7. Good idea. I have never been able to get into it. It may have had something to do with when I bought it several years ago though - the music store clerk was commenting on how I made an excellent selection and he went on and on and on about how it was the greatest record of all-time. When anyone strokes something that much, I become very wary of their claims. Trust no one, right? Upon listening to it once or twice, it just wasn't that great to me and has essentially collected dust on the cd shelf since. I've been trying to reevaluate albums a lot lately that I had given up on. So Thir
  8. I've been listening to Radio City / #1 Record all week while driving to and from work. Nothing really to add to this conversation other than informing you of my activities.
  9. Free album at: http://noiseaddict.net/ (you do have to give them your email addy though) Never liked Ben Lee much but Lou Barlow plays bass on this album.
  10. One of the indie stores in town says it will have the "cheapest price in town for the Beatles" next week. Hmmmm, we shall see.
  11. Vinyl and boy does it sound great. I am really impressed with Nonesuch's handling...
  12. Sounds pretty good. Can't wait. Pre-ordering is available now...
  13. Apparently, the Mystic Valley band is done for. My $.02: Pick up the Desaparecidos album Read Music/Speak Spanish. In my opinion, it's his best.
  14. They had it on sale at my local Wal-Mart this afternoon. I looked at it and returned it to the shelf. I haven't bought a BC album since the one with the lion on the cover.
  15. A German Choir singing "Goldheart Mountain Top Queen Directory"
  16. The local store had several copies today. I ordered mone from Nonesuch but it hasn't arrived yet...
