You are far too easily impressed, borderline delusional.

That's it really as far as I'm concerned. No offence. There comes a point when you think about trying to limit your posts My avatar and sig just about tell you all you really need to know. My musical taste is generally despised, but I am tolerated as they know it's no use trying to argue with the village idiot (this is a useful ploy ). I generally hold to the "if you can't say anything nice then better to say nothing at all" approach. This place is a useful escape and source of mirth and musical info for me but I can't be bothered to get embroiled in any arguments over music or anything

I'm doing a little dance right now...
Albert Tatlock replied to Mrs. Peel's topic in Someone Else's Song
First time I visited New York on a shoestring in summer of '84. I was sitting around at Washington Square after having walked up from the Battery. I was having a rest watching kids breakdance on pieces of cardboard for money from passers by. One of them sits down, looks at someone shuffling by with a camera and tuts in their direction, then looks at me and says "Tourists. Blah". "Yeah, tourists" I reply, in my best Rhoda Morganstein (spelling?) accent. Does that make me an honourary NY hardcore kid? -
Now you're cooking with gas!

If I could have an avatar that automatically alternated with the days of the week, I think that this would flip with Mr Gumby:- Although I really want a shot of that little tilt back of the head and smile he does at the end of the opening credits.

Last Friday there was a Blondie biopic on TV that had footage from inside (old stuff plus walking around in there now). First time I'd seen pictures of it. Interview with the owner etc., and lots of Chris S and Debby H - who came over very well. Even saw the loos where Chris and Debby got down and dirty - though they said it was in the alley outside. I didn't know that he had got married either - bit of a shame for her after all the time she spent with him when he was ill/addicted. (I went off them when Union City Blue came out, for what it's worth, but still have memories of the first Top of -
You know, as someone who is interested in history, I actually have admiration (which is hard to factor into my feelings for the current situation, but there you go) for the past military genius of the Israelis, especially '67 in Sinai, for example. But that was largely in empty desert, whereas now they are taking revenge on the defenceless.

I confess I have no idea who they are, but have fun! Elbows pointing outward is the best defence! -

I also think that the US administration will be extra understanding with Israel since they would probably like the Israeli air force to carry out another bombing raid on any Iranian nuclear centre at some point in the future, like they did with Iraq in the 80's.

24 Things that make you feel...

From the context, I'd say: going out for a drink with a mate called John Sams, the 'quiet one' being British understatement for getting lashed good and proper. -
