I saw Rocket from the Crypt at the Michigan Union Ballroom when I was in college. It's one of the best shows I've ever been to. Also, the Stooges used to play there a lot back in the day.

Well, everyone I voted for lost. Since Austin is so liberal, I keep forgetting that the rest of Texas isn't. On the plus side, all the city propositions - to raise money for various good causes such as refurbishing the shitty-ass public library - passed, so that's a good thing.
