My friends and I have also had this conversation in the past. For me it's never listen to the band I'm seeing on the way to the show. Why? I suppose after all these years it's tradition but for me I want the band to sound "fresh" when they hit the stage. If that makes any sense. Usually the ride up is talk of past shows with background music. Also post show music for me is no music at all untill what I've just heard is allowed to be enjoyed and remembered. At least a half hour to an hour depending on the ride and the show. I really don't like going to shows with a driver who blasts tunes as so

RS was once a well respected Rock and Roll magazine with writers who actually knew their s**t. I read that a long time ago and it's never left me. Glad you enjoyed it.

It's proven jail time without programs helps very few. Treatment/rehabs followed by 12 Step programs are the best way for an addict to get and stay clean.

Ist Concert ~ Stills/Young Band w/Poco @ Colt Park, Hartford, Ct. July 11, 1976. 1st album I bought with my own money was Harvest. All I ever spent my allowance on was LPs. I think I was 14. My sister had brought Everybody Knows & Goldrush into the house. I took over from there. God bless my older sister! I just gotta say being a teen in the 70's was the f*****g best. I would choose no other decade to grow up in. I hope everyone feels that way about the time they grew up.

Effigy is the song that got me to UT then to Wilco & Son Volt. No Alternative really changed my life.

I just got two tickets through the Northampton Box Office through a special "email members" Pre-Sale. I'm in @ The Pines, Northampton Ma. GAdmission. Edit: I remember The Pines taking a long time to sell out last time. -
Agreed. I was at a few of those shows back then. Good times.
-
Could you tell me if The Pines is GA? Thanks.

Seems I'm stuck looking at Pete for the rest of my VC life. Edit: I think I figured it out. Pete's gone anyway.

Thanks I'll give it a shot. Bob Edit: I'm still seeing Pete. Edit II: I changed to an older Neil and now I see a wider Pete.

I'm having a real hard time with my avatar. I've cleared my browser cache a couple of times. When I change the avatar all I get is Pete Rose sliding head first in different pixel arrangements. I should have a tall Clint Eastwood as William Munny. I see I tall thin PR face. Can I get some suggestions?

I don't need to awaken at any particular hour unless I've an appointment or such. Maybe two or three times per month. This morning I needed to be up at 4:00 A.M. to drive a friend to the airport for an early flight to FLA. Yes I did need an alarm, never a snooze. Normally I awaken when I'm done sleeping or my cat is sitting on my chest.

Yeah. I remember trying to get tickets for the PCC right around the time of the name change. Not good.

I don't for one second think Keith snorted his dad. I do think his manipulation of the media and the people who believe the media fucking rocks.

I love Keith Richards. Who knows if it's the truth but him? Keith f*****g rocks.
