If a man purports to know the depth and meanining of another's love, another he has never met, he is not as smart as he thinks he is.

You think Jeff makes $50,000 a year?

Coincidently on purpose? It does tie things together somewhat.

I'm really lovin Either Way. Fits my life perfectly. Great opener to a really great album.
-
I like it. A lot.

"Will To Love" really is amazing. I like the album version of "Sunken Treasure" when Jeff sings the background vocals just before he sings the lyrics which are the same words. Brilliant. That was my favorite Wilco song for a long while just because of that and the feeling it gave me.

I too love Shake It Off. Can't wait to hear it live! I haven't skipped one song yet on my listens through Sky Blue Sky.
-
That's one rockin' tune. Hope I get to hear it this summer. Q.Edit: Wouldn't have worked on SBS.

A well deserved #4.

No order. They're obsessions! Abbey my Pure Bred Main Coon Cat ( The one true love of my life. Go ahead and laugh. Tis true) Books (I collect signed first editions) Reading (I can't ever remember not being involved with a book. Ever) Neil Young Live (I've seen him 80+ times and counting) Baseball (From Little League to the Major Leagues) Bike riding (It was 150 miles a week untill my neck surgeries. I still consider it an obsession) Going To The Movies ( I've done it my whole life. My parents rocked!) Music (My truck CD player has 43,376 miles on it. I've been to well over 300 shows. Easy)

I'm from Connecticut but I drive to Massachusetts on the regular. I'm going to the Pines but not Boston. I've seen Wilco in every New England state except New Hampshire (plus Pennsylvania, New York & California).

This may be the best Eagles album the Eagles never made

Entertainment Weekly Review: Jeff Tweedy has had a lot on his shoulders lately: addiction, rehab, and the lofty expectations that come with each Wilco album. It's no surprise then that he and the band have gone back to basics on Sky Blue Sky, ditching the sonic tinsel of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and the minimalism of A Ghost Is Born for the haunting beauty of a slide guitar. His voice is the star, though. In ''Either Way'' and ''Impossible Germany,'' he sounds like a bicentennial-era Don Henley -
American Stars & Bars Decade Comes A Time Rust Never Sleeps Live Rust That's a hell of a run for a solo artist. 12 straight releases.

Yep. Easily one of my favorite Neil albums. It took a lot of nuts to release it right after Harvest.
-
Although A.M. was my first Wilco album it was Being There and the subsequent tour that cemented my love for Wilco. I saw that tour more than any other. It just seemed they were always within driving distance. A truly great album with unbelievable live shows.

I just went to the Borders site for a look at SBS. Here's the line-up they had for Wilco: Wilco Description: Group members: Nels Cline; Jay Bennett; Ken Coomer; Max Johnston; John Stirratt; Jeff Tweedy; Leroy Bach; Glenn Kotche; Bob Egan. Imagine that. Double drums, just like The Grateful Dead!

Does anyone remember when we did the VC top 100 albums? It was a while ago (years) but someone (I'm embarrased to say I don't know who) was in charge. What did we do? We put all our top tens together and that special someone ranked and filed them. Does anyone still have that list? Or know what the f*** I'm talkin' about?
