Could it be that records that come out EARLY in the year are often brushed aside, forgotten, and appreciated less at the end of the year? I know this happens to me a lot when putting these lists together. I also forgot that the Wilco album was released this year.

Great post, Matt. I feel much the same as you. As much as I look back and laugh at what was then, I cannot help but feel the goodness of Trey, Page, Mike and Fish. What a fantastic band! I'm glad I have my memories.

There was no such thing. Divided Sky is not an open ended jam song. 13-16 minutes max. Great song, though and one of their best when played right.

Wow! I will definetely be heading up to the Mint for these! I love that place! I'm used to seeing Nels play there with Watt, Perk and Co. I missed him when he played over here in Costa Mesa last fall and was regretful. Now I have 4 opportunities for redemption. Helio Sequence too. When and where is that?
