  1. Gordon Brown would know how to do it I bet.
  2. Froggie, that story was well cool. Nice one. No love for Neil Peart as a drummer?
  3. Cracker are a great band, you will not regret going to see them. Johnny and David are brilliant together. The latest album, Greenland, is well worth picking up too.
  4. This does indeed sound great, Vegetable Man is a must for inclusion I would have thought. Don't ya get peeved with all these re-releases and remasters? How many times are we expected to shell out for stuff?
  5. Not too sure about this yet. A friend recommended it to me but...I mean, it's ok and all but hardly indispensible.
  6. A-Man, we are scarily similar in our outlook. Now I shall go outside and ponder this in the sunshine.
  7. Wading thru the Beatle cocks and other swinging 60's appendages:
  8. Wait a cotton pickin' minute there, Barbara.....there were prostitutes?
  9. A nation sighs in collective relief.
  10. Seconded. They really are a treasure and you won't regret it for a minute when you hear those voices.
  11. Why can't the band just play a date(s) of their own in Ireland? I am too old and cranky for this festival shit now. Why couldn't the Marquee shower in Cork get them instead of fucking Madness, Status Quo and Elton John?
  12. Is there anyway you could host a VW for download please?
  13. Bringing sub-standard genital jokery to message boards since...a while now..
  14. The term itself, to me, brings to mind a mid 90's period mostly. So with that in mind I would recommend The Jayhawks, Son Volt, Lambchop, Freakwater, Gillian Welch among others.
  15. The new Editors album, An End Has A Start. I fecking love this band, this album is just as great as the debut.
  16. What a great letter. See, not all Wilco fans are uptight dildoheads.
  17. A-Man I get the feeling you are about to climb the virtual clock tower.
