I am just about to finish Barbara Tuchman's "The Proud Tower," a look at the world in the years leading up to WWI. Good stuff - I found the parts about Anarchism, the Dreyfus affair and Richard Strauss very illuminating.

Wilco puts out plenty of albums, but this is their first concert video, I do believe. There was asposed to be one with Kicking TV, but the cameraman fucked up or something so it was scrapped. So there is that factor, plus the fact that we had been expecting the new album, and not everyone (the SBS-unenthused) is really that excited by a new album. (I liked SBS a lot, but I hope this new album is a bit more of an ass-kicker.)
