Some people don't have the luxury of traveling a few hours both ways to see shows, and being that it is a bigger city that is a market Wilco has played a number of times in the past, I can understand the frustration. Am I frustrated that I've never seen Wilco in my hometown? Nah, but I sacrifice going to and doing a lot of activities and events specifically to go see Wilco 2+ hours from my city. Wilco has played my town once. In 1999. At a shitty hole in the wall that no longer exists. I keep hoping and praying they'll come back to the new venue that's on par with the Tabernacle, or the Page

There's still a ton of tickets left for both Atlanta shows. For fun I put the max amount of GA tickets in my cart for both nights. Very strange it hasn't sold out yet, though they were in Atlanta in May for Shaky Knees.

thanks! I have trouble with stairs, so my husband will probably hurry ahead to secure our spots- hoping it won't be too crazy to get the rail. I can't help but worry about it now even though it's 4 months away. My best advice is to show up to the venue that afternoon, find the stage door, and hang out there. Or near the tour buses. The afternoon is good, because they usually soundcheck anywhere between 2-4. I do this at basically every show I go to to say hey. They're nice people.

I'm very much looking forward to the tabernacle shows. Ended up grabbing another pair of tickets for my sister and a friend today, so it should be great. My sister hasn't seen wilco since 2011. Getting tickets on livenation this morning was no problem for GA in Atlanta- a nice change from the chaos last year when Ryman tickets went on sale. Can y'all give me a good description of how to get to stage from the entrance of the Tabernacle? It's been a leg time since I've been there and can't remember anything but scary stairs. I agree. I don't like that the stuff with crowd surge is through song kick and the email seems very sketchy. i've also heard crowd surge loses tickets.

that was the most stressful ticket pre-sale situation since 2011. jeez. thanks for that "events" link. it worked eventually for me and we got both nights in atl.

I know. That is what makes me nervous, because I have to be somewhere Friday morning, and was really looking forward to it, but I will rearrange plans for Wilco tickets.

I'm so worried that these tickets are gonna sell out so fast. Tickets in Atlanta can be a real nightmare because of scalpers. Also, Live Nation does this early-entry thing where you pay anywhere from 10-25 dollars more to be let in the venue early. Pre-sale isn't even for another day and I'm already a nervous wreck.

I gotta say I'm a little bummed I won't be able to snag the color vinyl of the record, but the one from KungFu sounds really great! The print kinda freaks me out a little bit, and I love the shirt. One of my favorite record release pre-order shirts since the Ramones rip off from AGIB.

Yes, though the interface for everything is now only on the Wilco site, if I am understanding everything correctly. There is no other site to buy pre-sale tickets, though I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to log on today to get everything ready in tabs and stuff. While on the topic of the pre-sale stuff, has anybody found a particular browser that is faster than any other?

Tickets have sold My husband and I jumped the gun and bought tickets to night 2 after having won tickets to night 1. We decided we can't justify the cost, and so we're gonna sell the ones we bought and throw in the night 1 that we won for free. So, $110 gets you 2 tickets to both nights of Wilco in Austin. First come first served.

Anybody know the C3concerts pre-sale password for the stub show on 9/30? I won tickets to the first night, and figured, if we're gonna go, we might as well go both nights.

Just create another email if your stuff isn't switched over by the time pre-orders happen.

Bummer. Was hoping for maybe an Alabama/Georgia/Tennessee date that wasn't a festival. Sigh.
