  1. I downloaded it. However, I am not going to listen until Tuesday, because that's when the listening party is. I justified downloading it because the nearest store hosting a party is 2 hours away. I can't drive that far for the party, but I still want to hear it at the same time as folks at the party. Plus, I've purchased 3 copies of the record already, so....
  2. I noticed those too. I don't think they're legit because there are so many listed. Definitely weird
  3. I'm debating about not listening if it leaks. Not sure I will actually hold out, but I'm thinking about it. Remember when YHF leaked and somebody was cool enough to mail copies to those of us who couldn't listen due to dial-up internet? Man, that was a long time ago.
  4. Paul McCartney Bridgestone Arena 10-16-2014 - this was the concert of a lifetime for me because the Beatles are my reason for liking every bit of music I like to this day. They're the band that made me start playing guitar when I was 11. Paul is my favorite Beatle, so I was stoked to even get to go, but my husband pulled a fast one and got us the soundcheck VIP tickets, so I ended up getting to be 3 rows from the stage in the center and I made eye contact with a freaking Beatle. Nothing will ever top it. Wilco Thomas Wolfe Auditorium Asheville, NC 10-14-2005 - first Wilco show ever. They
  5. Oh my gosh I am so excited! The preview tune on iTunes is great. Let's hope they let us hear it before September.
  6. I think we have good sidewalk karma. I'm so glad you guys made it to the show. It's always fun to run into you!
  7. I loved Wilco's tweet about the situation telling the jerk to save his dollars next time by not buying a ticket to their show. Absolutely perfect.
  8. I kinda thought last night was more fun. The crowd around me last night was markedly better behaved than night 1 except for the guy on my right yelling "Land Ho!" at Jeff a couple times. That was dumb. I dunno why people insist on telling stuff at the band at shows. The excitement around where I was was fantastic during the loud rock parts. Electric "Spiders" was so good. I'm glad they played it. Also "Star Wars" is a ton of fun live. It's every bit as enthralling as the album is, except with the great benifet of being louder (unless you've got humongous speakers!). One thing I noticed l
  9. I'm hoping there will be some different stuff tonight too.
  10. The person with the chicken sweater was a guy. He and his wife were really nice, even though he tried to take video.
  11. Damn. I know it sucks. I have one of those and I would be bummed too if I lost it. They had another style boggin at the merch table tonight. I know it can't replace the one you lost, but it looked really nice
  12. I hope we get Spiders tomorrow. Excellent show. I can't say anything else that would add anything. It was one of the hardest shows for me to get through for several reasons. I cried harder than I every have cried. Not much banter at all.
  13. What the fuck. People are shit heads. Are you going tomorrow? Maybe check the Tab's lost n found.
  14. I wonder if I will be able to find it online My mom worked for blue cross.
  15. We're leaving Chatt at 9:30 so hopefully we'll get there around noon. Planning to stick it out from then til doors for a rail spot. Looks like it's gonna be really cold Wednesday.
  16. Anybody else planning to be in line early in ATL?
  17. Awesome! I always like to meet VC folks. I feel like maybe we'd met before at the Fox Theater maybe?
  18. I don't think we will have to worry about overcrowding too much. The couple shows I've seen there were sold out, and we were close to the front. It didn't feel too crowded. The only wilco show I ever felt too crowded at was Sloss Furnace in 2012. I think we're gonna try to get to the tabernacle around noon both days.
  19. What a bunch of horse manure. That dude needs something better to do.
  20. Good to know. I think our plan tentatively is early afternoon. Hoping it will be easy to get up front. What's in the area now? Last time we saw a show there we ate at the CNN center food court.
  21. We have GA tickets both nights. Wondering what time we should plan to be there to achieve a front row spot? I've never been to a weekday show at the tabernacle, and I can't remember a lot about it. I was last there 4 years ago for Rufus Wainwright. I'm looking forward to these shows more than anything else going on in my life right now. So far 2016 is the worst.
