Probably.

That's awful and, based on the facts as presented on the website, a terrible miscarriage of justice. [countdown until someone makes this about Iraq or the U.S. justice system...10...9...8...]

The story I read said that the golf cart belonged (oddly enough) to the hotel that was hosting the golf tournament, and that they didn't have any problem with him "borrowing" it...

That dude was also in Empire Records.

That party occurred approximately nine years before I met my wife. I went with my then-future girfriend's sister, who dressed as a flapper, because she didn't have as much imagination as I did.

Reminds me of when I went as O.J. to the fraternity halloween party in 1995. I skipped the blackface, as I did not want to be murdered.

The opening riff is nearly identical to the opening riff to "My Sweet Lord." And yeah, I recognize the irony here (doo lang doo lang doo lang ), but it's pretty clear to my ears...

I was all set to back you up on this one, but I just listened to my copy, and it starts with "when." -

Who is what now?

Guitar-wizardry is not what Casino Queen lacks. Musically, it's just about perfect for what it is - a sloppy, fun rocker. Lyrically it's a bit weak, but again, it's just a sloppy, fun rocker. The riff is what it is, and no amount of modal eighths or tranfortional carmonics or Shermer's octavatives are going to improve on it.
