solace
as much interest as Tapes have been getting, i really hope some of the other great Minneapolis/Twin Cities bands get the exposure they deserve.
brianjeremy
And they are? I just picked it up out of the blue, I guess from hearing about it on here. they kind remind me of Wolf Parade.
solace
yeah they are. been around since late '02 or so. they've improved tremendously the last year and a half or so though, especially live. it's not too surprising that they're the band to break out though, they def have a good deal of indie appeal. it's just everyone is kinda shocked at how big they've blew up... they're on Letterman on the 25th of this month... bobbob1313
Basically, it makes me want to listen to Hail To The Theif, as it's the same sound, done much better. Still, not too bad. And I do love his voice.

It's really good, and probably my favourite Conor involved project... I bought a load of new stuff into the office today to freshen things up - this was an excellent choice this morning
