jrmitchell72
so it's a little past midnite and i decided to check itunes to see if SBS was available for download...it is! so anyone that wants the xtra track get it now...the last two albums with bonus tracks became "album only" purchases after a day. j ***i now understand why this wasn't on SBS...it would really break up the flow!***

jrmitchell72
sweet, thanks for the heads up not a problem at all.
jethro
In the process of getting this and some other records now. It'd be a whole lot cooler if they weren't 128kbps but I am sick of how much space all my old CDs take up. OK, playing now. This should have been on the record, awful decision by the Wilcoes. solace
had it made the cut, it would have been out of place like I'm A Wheel on AGIB and even moreso sounded like the "token rocker" imo
TheMaker
I think it'd probably work better than "Shake It Off." It's still a lurching beast of a song, it's just a little screechier (and better).
CommerceComet
I thought this was a fun live song when they played it in Wichita last year. Hopefully it will reappear in setlists soon. Thanks for the heads-up on iTunes. I figured it would be an album-only purchase from the get-go.

I just purchased it. This whole "album only" cr*p is for the birds.
isadorah
thanks so much for the heads up! just got it. down with the "album only" stuff.
mchchef1
I ordered mine though musictoday, but I have gifted two copies on itunes today, how can I get the free tune??
mastershake
god i hate itunes protection... i'm going to have to rip this one song to cd just so i can rip it to unprotected mp3. it's so stupid, makes me waste a CD-R
mpolak21
This version is pretty rocking, I like the guitar sound on it. It still kind of sounds like Jet on steroids, but it kicks ass. --Mike
Scalzunfield
If someone wanted to share this, I wouldn't be sad. As a person who has no reason to own iTunes (and is unwilling to set it up for just one song) it would rock.
Analogman
I am sure you can or soon will be able to find all these tracks on various illegal BT sites.
welch79
hey...can't d/l til later... is the rockin' drum solo on this studio version?
Majin
Good track. Like most Wilco, it doesn't rock as hard as it does live, but that's okay. It definitely wouldn't have fit on the record, though. All the screaming and the drum break would've stuck out like a sore thumb in the grand scheme of things.
Chendizzle
In the process of getting this and some other records now. It'd be a whole lot cooler if they weren't 128kbps but it's m4a, so it's pretty equivalent to 192kbps mp3. chances are your ears won't know the diff.
a.miller
hey...can't d/l til later... is the rockin' drum solo on this studio version?I sure hope for this as well. I was blown away the first time I heard that. EDIT: $.99 on iTunes has confirmed that there is a "drum solo." Unfortunately, so scaled down from the live version, it's more like a big fill. On modern material, it doesn't make that much of a difference, but on older, nonremastered stuff, it makes more of a difference. I don't miind buying 128kbps tracks, but I buy CDs and rip at 192 if it's something I really care about.
thisyearsgirl
oh, shit. "let's not get carried away" is even better than i thought it would be. am i the only one on this site that loves this band?
