jonbama
I wonder if that means that the deal with the dexateens fell through. I was really looking forward to that double bill. At least there is a bottletree date.

solace
takes longer than 4 listens... least it did for me
bakerian08
i thought it was really so so the first couple listens, but its one of my favorites this year now, after spending some serious quality time with it.
tangara
I agree. It's a grower. Anyone else planning to hit up the Empty Bottle show?

jenbobblehead
takes longer than 4 listens... least it did for meI so far only like the title track...
solace
I so far only like the title track... it's arguably the most immediately accessible, and MIGHT be my favorite on the record, but there's so many others that i adore... Not Your Lover? that song KILLS me... maybe a bit too much actuallyBlack River Killer is amazing... that may be my favorite if the title track isn't the only song on the album i don't love is ironically 'Love U'
you ever seen a ghost?
>the only song on the album i don't love is ironically 'Love U' same. -justin
solace
it was pretty fun live at least
tangara
It's killer live, though. *jinx* "Furr" was the track that grabbed me first, but I'd say my favorite is "God & Suicide" now.
KevinG
Sleepytime in the Western World is just soooo damn catchy. I can't help myself to bob my head in a hipster kind of way when I hear it.

Mrs. Peel
I just realized one of my closest friends from high school made an incrediby cool video for them about a year ago. Wild Mountain Nation I hadn't heard of the band back then so I didn't put it together.
solace
LOVE that song/video, that's awesome you know the dude
Mrs. Peel
I think I'm pretty savvy when it comes to digital crap and I can't even begin to imagine how long it took him to put that together. He just finished a new video that blows my mind even more. It's on the front page of his MySpace page.We were very close until he moved away to Portland. We were in bands together (LONG LIVE THE VOMIT PUNX!) and we all lived together for a few years when I was in college. He's completely self taught. Crazy.
