cash
What two tunes has Jeff written that you think sum up your love life right now. Some of us may write I'm Always in Love while others write IATTBYH (lets hope not to frequently Via Chicago, "I dreamed about..."), in either case music can be oddly personal at times. I'll start, being that I'm getting over a breakup that seems to follow me like a shadow I'm going to go with: On and On and OnandHow to Fight Loneliness Your turn. G_willy
Definitely the song Please Tell My Brothers. When I was a freshman in college in 04 I saw tweedy play at the orpheum in Madison and he played this song. It might have been the first time I heard it and this song really hit home. I am the youngest of 4 with 2 brothers, one who lives in california, and a sister. Not to mention my dad also works on the railroad...it was almost eery how well I could relate to this song. please tell my brothersI love them stillover the mountainson their phone billI should call more oftenbut they know I never willplease tell my brothersI love them stillplease tell my sisterI miss her toomy nieces and nepfewsand their swimming poolswhen I think about herher skies are blueplease tell my sisterI miss her tooplease tell my fatherI love him stillforget the railroadand all those billshead for the coolerand drink your fillplease tell my fatherI love him stilllisten dear motherI miss you the mostand as I travelfrom coast to coastI feel your loveand I feel your ghostlisten dear motherI miss you the mostlisten dear motherI miss you the most

Dreamin'
Carla Bozulich once remarked that she loves Wilco because "you can pretend the songs are about you." With perfect comic timing, a guy in the audience replied, "Why is Jeff Tweedy so mad at me?"
