bjorn_skurj
1. No socialized medicine. It works for every other GD industrialized nation in the world, and how could we possibly have a worse system than what we have now? 2. Looney Tunes not widely shown on kids' TV networks. This is causing real cultural illiteracy among our youth and depriving them of a seminal American experience. This must change. 3. The weak dollar. Don't want to get into details, but the dollar's feebleness vis a vis the loony has just hit me where I live.

Atticus
I'm with you on looney tunes. I think it's wrong that weed is illegal. I think it's worse that we have so many people in prison for drug charges while violent offenders walk the streets I think it's wrong that anyone who wants to stem illegal immigration is branded a racist. I think it's wrong that abortion isn't addressed by a constitutional amendment granting the U.S. congress the authority to legislate and protect women's rights rather than leaving such an important issue to a ridiculous string of mangled court opinions or up to the states. I think it's wrong in this day and age not to have a popular vote for our president (that counts). I think it's wrong that little to no value is placed on education and scholastic achievement while every move of athletes and pop stars is monitored and published as though they discovered a cure for cancer. and what Scott's about to say right down here:
mountain bed
Such a large laundry list of economic policy and foreign policy issues that it makes my head swirl to even contemplate the question. But one of the things that really gets under my skin is the fact that same-sex marriage is even an issue at all. It's hard to believe that this is so unnerving to people - in fact some major campaigns are based on keeping the 'one man/ one woman' idea at the forefront of the political agenda >>. Pathetic. Love is love and the zealots need to get over their hangups. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness y'all.

austrya
Instead of Looney Tunes, we have crap like Ed, Edd, and Eddy. It really is a bummer. On a positive note, we do have Yo Gabba Gabba...
a.miller
if you're going to live and work in this country, make an effort to learn English, will you not?I think it's wrong that anyone who wants to stem illegal immigration is branded a racist. There's a big problem in our country regarding people's toes getting stepped on and who deserves rights. cryptique
One thing that's very wrong about this country is that we still can't seem to support a top-flight professional soccer league, nor field a men's World Cup team with more than a long-shot chance at winning. That, and Wal-Mart.
Sir Stewart
what has become of The Little Rascals ?Bill Cosby bought the shows and won't sell rights to anyone because Buckwheat is racist. This may be an urban myth.

I think you're missing his point...some people don't even try to get the things that ARE available for everybody to just go out and get for themselves. There are definite extremes at both sides of that debate, but there is creedence somewhere in the middle.
isadorah
DC residendts do not have the same voting rights as everyone else in this country. The population of Wyoming is: 515,004 and they have 1 congressional and 2 senators. The population of the District of Coumbia is: 581,530 (not counting the non-registered residents) and we have 1 honorary congressional with no voting power. it is very very wrong.
