Guest Jules
I heard they're flying through LA, just to make sure they're nowhere near the UK.

gogo
I heard they're flying through LA, just to make sure they're nowhere near the UK.Well, the Australian tour in 2003 did give us a nice little one-off show in San Francisco, so I'd go for that.
OOO
Makes you wonder why they'd rather play for a country of criminals than... nevermind
froggie
YO JEFF! BROTHER!, please slip in a solo show in melbourne as for melbourne, i assume they mean the Palais Theatre, not the Palace. logical considering the place got burnt down a few months back
PeskyJase
D'oh! We have a baby due on March 17. Please hold on, Mrs Pesky.
kungfuonion
awesome! sadly, i will not be making in interstate pilgrimage this tour... although, i guess i could try to pick some up next year if i be rich enough to afford it...
chisoxjtrain
YO JEFF! BROTHER!, please slip in a solo show in melbourne as for melbourne, i assume they mean the Palais Theatre, not the Palace. logical considering the place got burnt down a few months back wow froggie, youre being spoiled. wilco touring australia twice in the span of one year is pretty sweet
H.Stone
Love seeing new dates up!
MKHstudios
Hopefully ticket prices are a little cheaper than in the UK and ticket sales are good. Canecelling two foriegn tours due to "scheduling conflicts" would not be good.
Aeglos
bah to Melbourne getting two shows to Sydneys one again but hey, one is definately better than none, can't wait
froggie
it all seems a repeat of april, venues and shows... except perth are missing out and NZ get some shows. why no love for Adelaide? (dont answer that - it IS a nice place)

froggie
> yay! we have dates! see ya at the side of the Palais?
whiskeygirl
> yay! we have dates! see ya at the side of the Palais? more than likely although we do have a decision or 2 to make - it would be nice to go back to byron for blues fest (the last few years have been a bit dodge, but wilco more than makes up for it!), but then there's sydney and melbourne . . . we're trying to save for an os trip in 08 and the concerts keep coming thick and fast - not that i'm complaining
dexterismyhero
Happy for all you Antipodeans but seriously? Talk about rubbing vast quantities of salt into very raw wounds. Think I'm going to try and get into Son Volt's stuff. Or even JB's solo albums. Desperate times and all that
Dave563
I can't believe they are playing Wellington. It going to be so good!
mahinty
Dave563, I too was in complete shock when I read down the list of new shows, and saw Welly on the list. The Front Room is an intimate venue for a band like Wilco, which will be great, but we're gonna have to be fast when the tickets go on sale. This will sell-out in no time. I'm ridiculously excited about the prospect.
froggie
what capacity is it in wellington?. melbourne is 3000 and sydney about 2000 (just like our postcodes )
Campaigner
Time for me to get on my "come to Perth!!!!!!" bandwagon again Worked last time and we got a brilliant freakin' show. Am I being selfish by asking for more?!?
damo
this is so good, twice in a year, they msut love it here
Hodie
what capacity is it in wellington?. I looked it up, not because I can go, but because I really really want to: 750 And it looks to be a club set up rather than a seated theater. I'm salivating with envy.
