Dude
The full documentary has now been posted on YouTube in 6 parts - as below: The storyline involving Johnny Marr, Jeff's 12-string and a cucumber is priceless.

Wendy
Thanks Ana - merged your thread into this ongoing one, so yes - we sure have been following this story. Lots of Finn Fans around Via Chicago. I watched the youtubes yesterday and I loved every minute of it and MUST watch it again sometime soon. I'm so thankful someone recorded it and uploaded it to youtube for us non-New-Zealanders to enjoy.
Gobias Industries
Yeah, that was a fun documentary. I like how Johnny Marr steals stuff because he's from Manchester.
blureu
The videos have been pulled. dang it. I only got to watch part one. Look forward to the DVD/CD. Maybe the videos will surface...
mahinty
From this week's Finn Fan Club Newsletter: It will have a release through Sony. At this stage I can confirm- Australia, NZ and USA. I'm sure there will be other areas but just haven't had any confirmation at this stage. At the time of writing the release date is still expected to be August. There was talk of both a single CD and a Double CD. I'm assuming that hasn't changed? The 2 discs that I have- contain 12 songs on each.
RainDogToo
Radiohead/Wilco/Marr/Finn Supergroup Benefit Album Details Revealed -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Radiohead's Phil Selway makes vocal debut. This past winter, former Crowded House/Split Enz frontman Neil Finn assembled a dizzying cast of music luminaries in New Zealand. Johnny Marr, Radiohead's Ed O'Brien and Phil Selway, Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt, Glenn Kotche, and Pat Sansone, and plenty of others got together with Finn to record a follow-up to Finn's all-star 2001 album 7 Worlds Collide. The album will be a benefit for Oxfam International. Now, NME reports that it'll be out on August 10. NME says that the album, titled The Sun Came Out, will be a double album, and it'll feature the singing debut of Radiohead drummer Selway. And according to NME, Marr collaborated with Wilco on the song "Too Blue". The tracklist, via NME, is below. Earlier this month, we told you about the New Zealand TV documentary about the recording of the album. Unfortunately, it has since been pulled from YouTube. Preferred B
Updated cover art, with an album title and some shuffling of photos. Spencer's now got a stamp. (The monkey is a watermark, I believe, not part of the actual album cover.)
badger
Great cover! I'm really looking forward to this one coming out now - next month?

(The monkey is a watermark, I believe, not part of the actual album cover.) Glenn's stamp is worth more than Jeff's. I see this being the kind of thing that breaks up Wilco. cooperissup3r
Why would this break up wilco? Jeff has been in side bands since the beginning of wilco. I think, if anything, it's good for wilco. Without Loose Fur we probably wouldn't have albums like yhf or agib.

Without Loose Fur we probably wouldn't have albums like yhf or agib. It's quite simple: Jeff sees that his stamp is a measly 80-cents compared to Glenn's 95-center, and this results in a huge brawl. But keep on drinking the "everything will be fine" Kool-Aid.

Preferred B
Oh no, John's name is misspelled! Let's hope this isn't the final final draft. Conflicting evidence of August 17th and August 24th release dates, at least in the UK and NZ.
