Shakespeare In The Alley
My stepdad said the local news reported he died. If that's true, then this is very sad.Even still, very sad.
u2roolz
Yeah, I just saw this on the news. Scary stuff. I hope he recovers. Edit: Hmm...odd about the local news reporting such a thing. I don't really know exactly what cardiac arrest is. Time to go to webmd to look.
solace
cardiac arrest is worse than a heart attack. he has died: http://www.tmz.com/2009/06/25/michael-jackson-dies-death-dead-cardiac-arrest/ very sad Farrah & MJ same day, crazy

chisoxjtrain
I'm going to wait for a more reputable news source than TMZ. Either way, really sad news if true.

They are the only ones reporting it for the last 15 minutes?! Still it can't be good..
dunnright00
The Los Angeles Times reports that Michael Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center Thursday afternoon. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31552029/ns/entertainment-music/
the_ashtray_says
it is funny tmz is the only one willing to publish he died. they don't care if they end up being wrong as long as it makes a better story for the moment.

the_ashtray_says
oh great now reuters is reporting on tmz's report and also claiming him to be dead. If they are right it helps them become more legitimate? not sure if it helps them be more legitimate, but it does let them say they were the first to report it. Guest Speed Racer
It's very hard to trust a crappy resource like TMZ. TMZ exaggerates a hell of a lot, but they're shockingly good with facts - especially celebrity rehabs and deaths.
dondoboy
No matter all the other crap that will be talked about, because they won't talk about the music, "Off the Wall" was/is a great, great record.

Scalzunfield
No matter all the other crap that will be talked about, because they won't talk about the music, "Off the Wall" was/is a great, great record. He did make some great music. Unfortunately, due to what he did later in his life it's easy to forget that. However, his death doesn't really sadden me, although it is surprising. Without getting preachy or inappropriate, if you molest children like he did, I don't think you should have the chance to live as long as he did. It's a "gift that keeps on giving" so to speak in that those who are molested are nearly 100% more likely to molest their children or someone else's. It'd be interesting to see how the kids he touched turn out in the long run...
Tweedling
Say it aint so! WOW! (not to mention I'VE been having a tad bit hypertension!) All this, for some reason, is making me feel old! We'll miss ya MJ!
