Moss
I seem to be hearing a lot of Buzz about this band. Anybody checked it out yet? (The Soft Pack) Pitchfork gave it a 7.
solace
I seem to be hearing a lot of Buzz about this band. Anybody checked it out yet? (The Soft Pack) Pitchfork gave it a 7.1 it's a pretty solid record. i saw them a while back when they were still called The Muslims and again @ SXSW last year as The Soft Pack, they're a fun live band. Shakespeare In The Alley
How is that? I've never listened to them, but I love Grandaddy, and All Smiles opened for Gruff Rhys, so it must be good music. Now playing: The Undertaker by Prince. Live in studio album he tried to release in 94. Warner Brothers blocked it, but it's pretty widely circulated. Prince on guitar, with a bassist and a drummer. Straight up rock/blues. So much excellent guitar work here. Highly recommended for any Prince fans. It's a side of him you don't hear often enough on his albums. If anyone wants a link, I'll find the one I used. RainDogToo
I'm seeing him in Charleston next Sunday. --Mike That's awesome!!! I've always wanted to see him and I had two chances, one of those times being this past summer at a festival(along with Lucinda Williams, as well)... for free and I still didn't go!!! Have a great time... and I'd be curious to hear about your experience afterwards!

uncle tupelo
How is that? I've never listened to them, but I love Grandaddy, and All Smiles opened for Gruff Rhys, so it must be good music. I like it a lot.. but that's not to say it's as good as a Grandaddy record and certainly not the gem that Jason Lytle's latest is. ...it's up on Grooveshark if you wanna have a listen. Shakespeare In The Alley
So good. Everything on this album that isn't the title song or Little Red Corvette is shamefully underrated. Such a unique album.
