So many Wilco soulmates out there!

Handclaps in Monday

Snare fill in Muzzle of Bees, during the build towards the end of the song

The way Jeff sings the opening lines in Side With the Seeds - "Tires type back where the blacktop cracks"

And!

The gorgeous harmonies between Jeff and John in County Disappeared

The way I is always prounounced with a midwestern twang. More like "Ah". As in "Ah'm the boy who smells like flowers." Ah love that!

I love the slide guitar in Walken after "I was singing this song about you."

And the guitar and drum at the end of the song.

Screams in Dreamer in My Dreams

Voice Crack in Via Chicago

"Ahhhh Assassin Down the Avenue"

Emotion in "Let's let the world just take it's shape."

"If it's just yer heart, talkin..."

When all three guitars come together in Impossible Germany

"Ok alright, Ok alright" (popular one)

"I just do as I am told."

"I've no idea how this happens."

Guitar that opens Sunken Treasure

Piano in I Am Trying to Break Your Heart

Weird sound in Company in My Back that sounds like the aliens in Signs. (Not a musician, so I don't know the correct terms for anything.)

"Under Your Bended Knee"

"Waiting for you lips to break apart into words"

"The rain applauds"

I could go on and on and on

The outro of "Less Than You Think" (am I gonna get flack for this?)

No way your getting flack for this. Sometimes, i listen just to the last line and the whole outro, especially when im in a stressful situation and need to clear my head. Its really therapeutic.

Question: do people like the original instrumental coda of "Muzzle of Bees," including the very last sliding chord, better on record or as done by Nels live now?

I prefer the live version, Nels' solo is way better, and it sounds bigger live, though thats true with many Ghost is Born songs.

In the live version of Late Greats, Nels does this really awesome jangly guitar thing during the second verse. I never really noticed how awesome it is until a few weeks ago.

Hell is Chrome Solo

The build at the end of the live version of sunken treasure- there's some wild noise coming from either Nels or Mike, tres cool!

You Are My Face: Guitar Break and Jeff's next verse of lyrics... gives me goosebumps...

Handshake Drugs: the bass line throughout the song...

A Shot In The Arm; live -> screaming "anymore"...

Nels on the lap steel at the end of Airline, when played live. and Ken going ballistic on the drums on the studio version.

"says i havent gone too faaaaaaaaaarr" and the following guitar solo in VC

and that part in Kamera after Jeff sings "no one knows how far, i've driven in the dark". that little drum part sounds so forceful and peaceful at the same time

Side With The Seeds: Right after Tweedy sings "so why side with anything", Nels' guitar comes in, and it speeds up really fast and goes over in a bitchin' solo. Of course the guitar solo at the end is longer but this one takes the cake when it comes to making my blood boil.

Ashes of American Flags "Kicking Television" version: one of my favorite Nels Cline solo's after all the lyrics 've been sung. Absolutely face-melting and spine-tingling.

Theologians "Sunken Treasure" version: I love this stripped down version, especially the lazy pace of the intro and the warm sound of the single guitar.

Jesus, Etc: just about in any live version and the studio version, the part where Jeff Sings "you were right about the stars" kicks so much butt.

Obvious, but...what you once were isn't what you want to be anymore...

Obvious, but...i have no idea how this happened...

Adding to the Far Far Away fever...kiss and ride on the CTA...

The break in ALTWYS...and Jeff's guitar solo behind it

When Jeff's voice breaks immediately after the "Either Way" solo

On and On and On....this world of words and meanings makes you feel

outside....

The Ummm? in I'm a Wheel...and, yeah, that screech

thought of another one that's got me listening to I Must Be High quite a little bit as of late-

"Now your pissed that you missed, the very last kiss, from my lips..." It's not only the words, but the way Jeff delivers them. It comes out so effortless, almost like an afterthought. I just really dig it.

Oh, and the part in HMD when you get to imagine Glenn twirling his sticks ;)

The heartfelt nostalgia of this line: "I miss the innocence I've known, playing Kiss covers, beautiful and stoned"

Jeff's voice cracking throughout "One Hundred Years From Now" (on Return of the Grievous Angel Graham Parsons tribute) The VERY first Wilco song

I ever heard! It was love at first listen. And the rest is history...
