Shakespeare In The Alley
I really liked Rising Down. That's also an incredible album. But this is such a refreshing change-up. And that album cover is incredible. These guys are on such a hot streak.
solace
honestly... i much prefer their 90's work to their post-00's albums, but they've got an insanely consistent and great catalog throughout
Shakespeare In The Alley
I'm disappointed that the talked about cover of Peaches En Regalia didn't make the cut, but at the same time, I love that this album is 42 minutes long. Looking forward to picking up my copy tomorrow. $7.99 at Best Buy, for what it's worth.
cooperissup3r
they covered Peaches? man i wanna hear that. it's a pretty solid album, though. enjoying it. Dear God 2.0 is really nice.
Shakespeare In The Alley
Questlove mentioned it a while back, when the album was first mentioned as upcoming. I don't know if they actually recorded it or not, but I would love to hear them play that song. Don't know if it would fit into the album's sound, though. Unless they gave it a similar kind of jazzy arrangement. Either way, I hope they did record it, or at least play it live.
