uncool2pillow
What about rap artists? Will Smith, LL Cool J, Ice T, Ice Cube, eminem (barely), lots o' others. Also, you know what movie Bowie had a great, bit piece in? Into the Night with Michelle Pfeiffer and Jeff Goldblum. A great sleeper (more accurately, insomniac) movie directed by John Landis. sonnyfeeling
Chris Isaak (my high school debate partner) has a pretty good list of acting credits. Also, Cher. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Oh, and Jeff Bridges is an actor who can sing.

KramkonG
I wouldn't call any one of Gene Simmons' appearances on film acting, but, he is listed in the credits. So, I guess that counts...

tinnitus photography
Henry Rollins has been in a lot of movies. Jello Biafra has been in some too. Jim Jarmusch has cast a few musicians (other than Tom Waits) in his films, including John Lurie, Iggy Pop, some of the guys from Wu Tang Clan, and Gibby Haynes.
