calvino
I like the idea of putting a different type of Star in between the Dark Star, too.

Kudos to them! I wish I were seeing lots of shows on this tour, I had no idea they were gonna do this.
sumodie
Awesome to hear that Weir is rocking out with both Wilco & MMJ! Dark Star!?! No freakin way ;0>
JayK
Wilco and Weir is turning out to be a very fun combo. Hoping to hear this set soon. Thanks for posting the setlist.
AlwaysInLove
Please tell me there is a recording of that Dark California Stars!! I don't care if it's a vertical iphone video, I want to hear it!
Mr. Heartbreak
If there is, it's from far back. Security was very, very tight. Great set, though. Can't believe I called Airline to Heaven...let the record show. So...no other VCers there?
sonnyfeeling
OMG. I can imagine some wonderful collaborations with Richard Thompson on the next leg, but am having trouble figuring out how Ryan Bingham will fit in. Anyone?
worldrecordplayer
And to add to the DS mind melt, Nels was again playing Duane's '57 Goldtop. Damn, please let there be a recording of this somewhere.
Shug
Did they play You Are My Face? Wilco's official Facebook page does not have it listed. Maybe it was an audible not on the written setlist?

Three dollars and 63 cents
I just saw that, too. I could hear him singing Dark Star. I'd considered doing a road trip to Nashville so I could see one of the shows with Bob Weir. I'm really kicking myself for not doing it now that I'm seeing they've done all these terrific collaborations.
leatherman
They definitely played You Are My Face. The whole show was outstanding. I loved Wilco's set, but I'm calling MMJ as my favorite set of the night. Bob Weir's opening set was really great and I was pleasantly surprised at Dylan, too. We were in the pit and the whole night was just great. MMJ sound checked I Know You Rider and Brown Eyed Women, too, so that could pop up in tonight's set. We also heard Bob Weir checking Playing in the Band and Jailhouse Rock.

worldrecordplayer
Wilco certainly nails that transition back into Dark Star. sounds eerily like the Dead. Wilco is amazing.
jw harding
I tweeted 2 nights ago that Wilco & Weir should do Spiders>Other One>Spiders>Viola Lee Blues. Mikael and John "favorited" the tweet. This gives me hope.
jgriff
Awesome show last night. Dark California Stars was quite amazing. Security was really tight in the pit so all I could manage was this photo. First time seeing MMJ and was blown away. Weir sounded great and Dylan was good but after Wilco and Jacket blasting their set it was a bit of a come down.
