Boss_Tweedy
Not sure I can officially narrow it down to five, but off the top of my head: 1. "Lifes Rich Pageant" - R.E.M.2. "Anodyne" - Uncle Tupelo3. "Being There" - Wilco (I kinda felt like at least one Wilco album was a mandatory inclusion)4. "Kind of Blue" - Miles Davis5. "Picaresque" - The Decemberists

Albert Tatlock
This got me thinking, since in this mp3 age and with less free time than I'd like there are really relatively few albums I listen to in their entirety. This is, as I say, usually not through choice, but it also does not help that there are hardly any albums without at least one track I do not like. I am very picky. These came to mind as 5 albums that I would value for complete listening today. Order is very difficult. Touchdown - The BrakesLiver! Lung! FR! - Frightened RabbitAll Mod Cons - The JamWings Over America - WingsWe Used To Think The Freeway ... - Richmond Fontaine On any other day any of the following could get into the top 5 At The Ryman - Emmylou HarrisBachelor No 2 - Aimee MannBoxer - The NationalThe Hungry Saw - TindersticksIt's A Wonderful Life - SparklehorseLaid - JamesLeaders Of The Free World - ElbowLondon Calling - The ClashMoo You Bloody Choir - Augie MarchNative Sons - The Long RydersNew York - Lou ReedNixon - LambchopOK Computer - RadioheadRattus Norvegicus - The StranglersRevolver - The BeatlesRook - ShearwaterRubber Soul - The BeatlesRumours - Fleetwood MacRock'n'Romance - Jonathan RichmanSetting Sons - The JamTime (The Revelator) - Gillian WelchWashington Square Serenade - Steve EarleWelcome To The Night Sky - WintersleepThe Whole Love - Wilco

Passenger Sid
Picking a "favorite" 5 is much easier that if someone asked you to list what you think are the "best" 5. "Favorite" is all personal and it's sometimes hard to explain why. For example, I came oh so close to listing the Wings' "Back To The Egg" in my top 5. I would never say it's one of the best albums of all time. Not even the best Wings album. But it's my favorite. By far. Such a damn cool record. "Summerteeth" and OP8's "Slush" just missed my cut as well (OP8 is a band with members Lisa Germano, Howe Gelb, Joey Burns and John Convertino).
