I enjoy Modern Times, too - more so than Tempest and Together Through Life. I think Tempest bores me more than Together Through Life, probably because it is a longer record.

Can't imagine who would want to go see them play with another singer --- Malcolm, Johnson, and Rudd all out.

The first West LA Fadeaway was pretty great -- lyrics were a bit different. They debuted Day Job on the same night (8-28-82) - a nice peppy version of Day Job.

I think Dylan still has an all-original new record in him - maybe two. (Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, though.)

Wouldn't mind seeing a Dylan and Staples show --- maybe Dylan will loosen up a bit and they will share the stage at some point. Would be better if it was his own new material, but I will probably end buying it, anyway.

Yeah these Archive files have been fun to listen to -- first the Cover versions and now this one - both uploaded by the same person. What a great, amazing resource.

I was watching it last night with my wife and she said the same thing - I know, not the same at 10 year old, but she said 'how does he he still do that,' I pulled at single floor ticket for the Chicago show, but just can't pull the trigger due to costs. Never seen the Who. Plus, my wife told me if I was going to go see them, she would have to go, too -- which would make even more expensive.

I happen to have the TV on last night and caught the performance --- definitely sounded great.

Watched Bowie's Serious Moonlight Tour DVD last night -- man, that was fun to watch. Earl Slick definitely over played a bit -- but I can't see Vaughan fitting in at all with the band. Loved the two back up singers, too. I thought the overall production was great --- anybody who thought Bowie sold out around this time is a weirdoe (To quote Lammy).

I live about 20 minutes away from 3 Floyds - never been to a Dark Lord day. I tried to go there twice -- both times there was a line to get in and both times I didn't want to deal with it and left. Heard that their food is great, though.

Well they all did sign a "contract" prior to the election that they would support whomever was elected- so there is that. I don't have a problem with all the candidates still sticking with it - they all are still in the race. I don't think any of them will be standing behind him, like Christie, anytime soon, though. Maybe Cruz. But I don't think Rubio or Kasich ever will.

I only heard bits of it, but Romney's speech sounded good --- tonight's debate should be a good one (and a mess).

I thought David Browne dealt with the information about the late 60's/early 70's communes nicely - what it was like living in the area during that period, especially Mickey Hart's ranch/commune. I don't think I would have wanted to hang out at Hart's ranch during the early to mid 70's. He seemed to interview a lot more women for the book, too. All of the above was kinda new to me or at least presented in a new way.

Maybe they are calling it 'minor' because Dignity was never released on a proper record, like Oh Mercy --- only on the Bootleg Series/Greatest Hits Vol. 3, etc/ MTV Release. My first introduction to the song was the MTV Unplugged release - I never did get his Greatest Hits Vol. 3 release. I do agree it's a poor choice of words. ('Minor') - not to mention -- if it was a 'minor' song, why would Dylan and Columbia have it put on Greatest Hits, Vol.3? Just checked - I guess Dylan had no involvement with Greatest Hits, Vol. 3 -- so maybe Dylan, himself, considers it as a minor song.

I think the Live Moby Grape disc is the only Sundazed I own.

Just saw that my library system has the Sundazed CD re-issues of Moby Grape (1st release) and Moby Grape '69. I have them being brought in. Haven't listened to the Historic Live Moby Grape Performances 1966-1969 that I purchased when it was released in long while - need to listen to this weekend.

Listening to Bark this morning via Spotify -- "Wild Turkey" is a great tune. Papa John sound great on the tune, for sure.

Does anybody know why there isn't a soundboard of the June 18, 1983 SPAC show - the one that Lammy mentioned above with the Dew. There is few great audience recordings, which is fine with me - but just curious about the missing sbd. Is the show at least in the vault? Though I can't imagine that there are too many sbd's in the vault that having been leaked.

I always enjoyed the studio versions of Brent's Built to Last tunes better the live renditions. Always enjoy Tons of Steel, too-- again I prefer the studio version, though.

Sanders won percentage wise 59% to 40% but lost in the delegate department: Clinton:34 Sanders: 33. I think this happen a bit in the 2008 election, too - with Obama and Clinton, except Clinton is on the receiving end of the delegates, now, while in 08 she was not.

First Duke of the KKK and now a Farrakhan "endorsement"-- great twofer for Mr. Trump. Too crazy. Farrakhan lives a few blocks over from where I lived in the city -- at least I can say he was a good neighbor and his sidewalks were always shoveled in the winter.
