I have a special bond with this song. I hit snooze twice before dying every damn morning. Love it.

For some reason, I always bust out laughing on the 4th (?) track when they say "bet". Its so funny, awkward, cool, lame, etc. I still like this album. Seems to me like a good mesh of Kill the Moonlight and Gimme Fiction.

I think Billboard's ranking of 4 is incredibly lame and I dont understand how Wilco wasn't ranked higher. I am outraged. Everyone knows it should have been ranked 1. Who are these morons at Billboard. Are they even relevant anymore? I think this proves that Billboard, like Pitchfork and RS, is no longer relevant.

One of the sadder (and I think underappreciated) losses as the CD has continued to obliterate the LP is the loss of the whole "what a great song to end side 1 with" or "can you believe that they opened side 2 with this?" etc. I hate that CDs are 1-12 tracks with no breaks. But I guess it all comes down to how you were raised. I am no old fart by any stretch but I grew up when CDs first started breaking through and I couldn't afford them so I was forced to listen to old LPs from parents, friends, etc. Enough about me. I vote for Side 1 of 4 for SBS.

This is probably on the second tier of fuck you songs, but I have always like Elvis Costello's No Action. What a way to lead off an album: "I dont want to kiss you, I don't want to touch..."

I am loving it so far. I haven't listened to the lyrics all that carefully, but the album strikes me as a bit more political than I would have expected. Dont Make Me A Target and The Underdog especially. Then again, maybe I am projecting.

I am totally digging this album.

I live in an apartment in NYC, so 90% of the music that I listen to at home is on headphones and I have done a ton of research on headphones. I haven't seen wilco since before the new songs debuted. Watching this DVD gave me a new appreciation for this lineup and these songs that I didn't think I could have had. I mean, I love SBS. But these live performances put an exclamation point on every single gosh darn song. And an exclamation point on every single member of the band. I honestly gained a new appreciation for every member in the band -- especially Pat and Mikael. I had waited a couple of days to watch -- it was such a treat. Thanks Wilco.
