I'd probably have Say It Ain't So as my #1. Seems a little odd though, I mean, Nirvana shaped the 90s and yet they aren't in the top-10? But Aaliyah is?

I've been listening to the EP a lot lately. Easily my favorite of 2010 so far. Kind of weird to call 8 songs and 60 minutes an EP. Anything over 40 is an album to me. What does everyone else think?

I'd take anything off of Nashville Skyline... especially "Tonight, I'll Be Staying Here With You".

This sounds promising...

Neil posted this on Facebook today.

I wish Weezer's music (these days) was as interesting as their album covers. The 12 minute short was really great and answered two of my bigger remaining questions. They really just need to do a spinoff....

Anyways.... back on topic. The references were pretty good as well.

Question: has anyone here ever bought a signature guitar?

That was a mistake, I think. Turco is not getting any better. Dallas didn't make the playoffs last year and Turco wasn't good enough for them. This just makes the Hawks a weaker team. 2.75 for Niemi is more than fair.

Ugh this is terrible. Ben Keith is my all time most favorite steal guitar players. I'm going to go play my lap steel in honour.

Nice! I've been digging a lot of these. Will Oldham and Magnolia Electric Co are some of my favorites that have been done so far. I'm sure Wilco's performance will be added to that list.

You mean like an entire disc of extras? Or a commentary from Sam Jones, Jeff, Glenn, John, and Leroy?? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

I seem to remember him posting something about how he was close to securing a distribution deal... but I can't find that post now. It was recent.

Inception was incredibly refreshing. In a summer filled with remakes and adaptations, it was great to see such an original storyline.
-
Best movie I've seen since probably ........ The Dark Knight.

They really need to decide what they're doing. They've been reunited for six years now and still haven't produced any original content besides that Kim Deal song. How much fun can playing "Debaser" and "Monkey Gone To Heaven" every night for six years be?
-
Anyone see these? http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Les-Paul-Studio-1950s-Tribute-Electric-Guitar?sku=430789 I'll take one in Satin Ebony, please.

About to listen now.... Pat and Glenn play on this?? Was that an older recording that Jay recycled?
-
He works for the CBC, that's his job.

That was actually my first thought too, for some reason.
