1. Delta Spirit - Ode to Sunshine (Not a well known group by any means but I listen to this at least once a day. Every song on this album is great. I highly recommend it. They are even better live.) 2. Wilco - Sky Blue Sky 3. Dr. Dog - We All Belong 4. Ryan Adams - Easy Tiger/Follow the Lights 5. Ween - La Cucaracha I liked Spoon and the National's releases this year, some good songs, but some portions of them are not really my bag. I'm surprised I even listened to this many new albums.

I did a search and didn't find exactly what I'm looking for. I need an external hard drive for recording music. Basically, I want to put my files on there so I can just have programs on my C drive. From my experience and what I'e heard it makes everyhting run faster. I'm using a laptop so a second internal isn't an option. What kind do oyu guys recommend. I was thinking of getting at least 120GB. I've heard good things about LaCie and Western Digital. I may have read too many reviews because everything I've looked into has been trashed by someone. Basically I want something fast and q

This is what they said in the email that I got: The words "endeavor" and "attempt" kind of leave it open so they don't have to play everything, but they mention all studio albums, including the mermaid avenues, "plus who know's what else" If they don't play at least 80% of their albums I'd be really surprised. Plus, they've promised to play a different setlist each night. If they're playing for at least a couple hours each night and not repeating they're gonna have to play more than a few rarities. So to answer your question: yes, you are.

I'm still not sure if i'm going to this even though it's not far from me. There are a lot of good bands but none of them are making me want to shell out the money for it. If Wilco was playing I would already have a ticket. I'd like to see Dr. Dog, the National, Beastie Boys, phil & friends, MMW, claypool, the meters, the duo, and the bad plus. But I'm not sure if it's worth it because i've already seen most of those groups and it's a $200 ticket.

I haven't listened to those in a while (at work now) but they are great tunes. I think this will be a really good album. I remember hearing the songs from his last album live before it came out and they didn't really do too much for me but the album was great. But these sound great live. I hope a massive tour ensues that includes Florida and results in some sort of live dvd. Then pavement will do a reunion tour. Thanks for posting the article and track, guys.

putting together the timeline of the world's best band
mfwahl replied to mastershake's topic in Someone Else's Song
really, the kids love em but i haven't heard a song by them in a while I would go Dylan->Beatles->Pink Floyd->Talking Heads->Michael Jackson(kind of a band cause he can dance and sing at the same time)->Pavement->Phish->Wilco This is really mine own personal taste, but how can it not be. The late sixties alone, how can you choose a best?! -
Question: I'm in the process of getting new equipment. What do you mean not compatible w/ Vista/Leopard? I'm clueless.
-
Definitely, especially because I live down the street. That place is awesome. An outdoor venue in the middle of a city block. How great would it be to how live Wilco blaring all over downtown. I can't to see Ween there in Feb.

Here's something to add to the fire. When they announced the line up for Langerado I was pissed that Wilco wasn't on there. I emailed band management and Langerado to see if there was any hopes of them being added. The response I got was that the trip to aussieland wouldn't allow them to do it. Now I see these dates. Look's like I'm gonna have to wait until they retire to see them in Florida.

My girlfriend would totally throw that away if she saw that. -
They don't want people to know that they're gonna make everyone who shows up to the show wear plain khaki uniforms cause you know how the kids love their shirts with logos on them

This sounds mysterious. Are we taking out islamofascists or the chinese?
