Yeah, I'm glad to see the reisdency has had an effect on these shows so far. I got into Wilco Summerteeth era and really loved some of the songs that weren't being played like She's A Jar, Pieholden Suite, Summer Teeth. I thought with this lineup we'd never hear some of those live again, but kudos to the band. They've got me checking WilcoBase regularly.

I think the difference between earlier albums and SBS is related to something Jeff talks about in the Wilco Book. He says something about a work of art being an ark, it's own world, and that holds true for a lot of their albums, especially ST, YHF, and AGIB. SBS comes off as more of a group of really great songs, but it doesn't have the same timeless effect on me. Still better than most records.

I'm a fan of the music. I get to see them on SNL and I like that. I'd be pissed if I was going to the Charleston show, and it's okay to be pissed. But people who say this is the end of Wilco and they've sold out and all this crap is ridiculous. Go ahead and vent, but remember they rescheduled and enjoy the show in August or whenver the fuck that is.
