MTV doesnt play any of those albums, not to my knowledge. Very very weird. But the snippet about SBS in there is actually quite good.

  10. I like the Riv. If people aren't sweating moving cramming jumping screaming, it's not much of a Rock show. No sitting music experience has come close to any other standing one I've had.
  11. Anyone want to trade a Saturday for my Friday ticket? Getting there on Friday and in good time will be a major hassle for me, and I have a several friends going on Saturday. Please, let me know. Thanks a lot. (PM me).
  12. Yes, Iowa City was fantastic. I was a definite for this one untill the Residency was announced. I'll be there if I can find a ride. Iowa City had tickets on sale the day of, so I'm not worried about a sellout.
  13. The tickets on sale at Noon are public, correct? They're sold on Ticketmaster, correct? I don't need a password, correct? (If I do, is it "Winter"?)
  14. Jim James and Calexico-Goin' to Acapulco fucking incredible
  15. GA is really the only way to go as far as I'm concerned. The energy of a standing crowd and how it feeds the band is incomparable to anything: makes for a truly religious experience. Millenium and the couple of Auditorium shows I've been to pale so heavily in comparison to Iowa City, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza. The physical strain is SO MORE THAN WORTH IT.
  16. i'm on now till 9 PM. listen if you're bored with the new radiohead yet. www.kruiradio.org/listen
  17. Yeah I saw that too. I was 3 people back, dead center, and dancing through most of the show. The kid was actually stoked. Woot.
  18. probably nowhere in particular. they all seem to have a weird wardrobe collection, like amassing clothing from various places over the years
