  1. Man, I need to chime in again here: I hate toilet humor. There's really fairly little of it in FG. As has been mentioned by several people (myself included) the show used to be quite good and now just resonates slightly with moments. With some toilet humor, too. It's hit/miss these days but when you hit an episode with a few gems it's worth it.
  2. I misunderstood. I didn't realize you were referring to one specific venue (Metro?). I have no idea the policy behind that particular venue but was referring to the impact on a city, in general, and the links between artists/bookings/ticket sources.
  3. I assumed he meant "greatness" in the same kind of context such as "the comedic greatness that is Jerry Lewis."
  4. I wouldn't know a D & D term if it held me down and shot me up a Tabasco enema.
  5. Or move the team to the States.
  6. I'm pretty sure these are the only three left. MIN currently has a stadium under construction that will be an outdoor (with a canopy-not a roof, apparently) and natural grass.
  7. With permission from the photographer, some pics of the new park for the Nats (first 4-5 photos only) taken yesterday: http://www.pbase.com/bb_etc/image/93771528 And some other photos made public: http://www.jdland.com/dc/stadium.cfm?tab=no1
  8. Led Zeppelin IV on the way in today. I hadn't listened to Zeppelin in a long, long time. The album is still fantastic.
  9. Why I wonder are my pants full of holes Well the feeling goes but my pants keep growin' Oh I'm bragging I'm always in pants.
  10. Someone Else's Pants Sunken Pants Dreamer in My Pants (Was I) In Your Pants okay. I'm done.
  11. How to Fight Pants Nothingsevergonnastandinmypants (again)
  12. Can't Stand Pants Shot in the Pants War on Pants I'm the Man Who Loves Pants
  13. Pants to Heaven Laminated Pants Spiders (Pants) Outtasite (Outtapants) Forget the Pants Poor Pants I Am Trying to Break Your Pants I'm Always In Pants
  14. But see, then there's the latest album. Would you term that "straight Rock?" I don't think I would.
  15. I think the bigger story here is why he was in Australia scouting players.
  16. I find this difficult to believe. And while I've never played D&D it's always intriqued me to an extent. Actually learning to play and then finding another person willing to learn and play was that extent.
  17. So I'm confused. Is this a good day or a bad day?
  18. I always forgot my mom's birthday when she was alive, but I never forgot the day she died. Until this past year. The day came and went and I spaced. Not that I need to remember this day, but it always jumped out at me. She died in Dec. of '94 and I've kept her in my nighly/daily prayers for 13 years and feel that's better communication than remembering any particular day anyway. I look at it as a good thing that the day went on as normal without me having to remember the specifics from '94.
  19. An American Original. An incredible contribution to music, particularly in Bluegrass. Anyone not familiar with him or the style of flat-picking and is curious there are loads of albums he's done. A few years ago he put out an album called The Three Pickers featuring Earl Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs, and of course himself. An amazing album featuring three guys who define the genre.
  20. Phil & Friends are starting to announce non-festival gigs, with the Denver Fillmore up first on May 8, 9: http://www.phillesh.net/philzonepages/frie...f/calendar.html
  21. Truth be told, if the person behind me is tall I'll generally recline just enough to get out of the 90-degree angle. Otherwise, I usually recline more. I've also gone back to incline when the person behind me has asked (only happened twice, but still). Flying blows for everyone, kids too.
  22. And sometimes food gets dislodged from my mouth and lands behind me. In all seriousness, people over 6' should be required to buy the seat in front of them, too. Anybody over 5' is uncomfortable on a plane. We're all dealing with limited space.
