  1. It's a mix of the first and second sets. I've got the rest of the show which has comparably very nice versions of "Two Souls in Communion," "He's Gone," "You Win Again," and "Mr. Charlie," (to name just a few).
  2. 48 hrs.? That's nothin'. He's been doing a lot more good than this little bit of bad while on probabtion. No big deal.
  3. I didn't click the link but if Wade Boggs isn't on that list I don't want to know who is.
  4. Someone's never had a celebrity so damn cute die on her before.
  5. I'd be interested in what they put out. Some dvd stuff would be great. I'm surprised Perkins is taking the reigns on this as Farrell always seemed to have such a tight grip on what Jane's does (although i suppose it's just Perkins' take on it here). I'd definitely be psyched if they do another tour, too. With Erik Avery, of course. I caught them a few years ago when they did just 3-4 U.S. dates before doing a bunch of shows overseas and they've still got it.

  7. I've seen them a few times. Excellent band. R.L. Burnside's son is in the band, too. They're Blues/Roots/Rock/Jam. Lots of talent. I thought they played with John Hiatt now. I'll second going to the show solo. I've been to tons by myself and often prefer it, as well.
  8. But Valentine's Day is a day to do something different to show a person you care for them.
  9. I think even the Giants know how this one will turn out. Oh, they won't admit it publically. But they know.
  10. I wasn't trying to be the turd in the punchbowl, I just wasn't sure of the band/cover tune as I'm at work. Congrats. That's pretty cool.
  11. Nobody celebrates Valentine's Day anymore.
  12. GD 2-15-73 Dane County Coliseum and GD 3-1-69 Fillmore West
  13. My motm used to lather us up in the stuff whenever one of had croup. Only on the chest, though, and always accompanied by a trip to the bathroom with the shower cranked on hot to make it a steam room. I'll try the Vick's on the feet deal next time the baby issick (now). Of course I'll need to buy some Vick's and I'll need to remember to use it.
  14. I think it'd come down to where each fits in his role on a given team. Obviously, Tulowitzki's offensive talent is decent and his defense excellent. Ramirez has sub-par defense but excellent offense. I tend to agree with Stark that it's pretty much a toss up and that they're a lot closer in comparison than you give them credit for. Regardless, they're both excellent young talents.

  16. Cardinals re-sign Yadier Molina to 4-yr. contract: http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20...7&fext=.jsp
  17. I've seen it mentioned before but never the trailer. That looks pretty funny.
  18. His tenure with the 'Skins is the root of my sour attitude towards Turner as well. I've said it before that I think Turner is a very good offensive coordinator but, up until the second-half surge of the Chargers this season, I've was surprised that he kept getting Head Coaching jobs after his WAS days.
  19. Nor I. And frankly, I'm stunned as to how far the team has come under his watch.
