There's a lot of crap in most foods people eat, not just the meats. Ever compare an organic apple to the regular apple you get at the supermarket? It's a remarkably noticeable difference in texture and taste, imo. Same with water. I've been drinking filtered water for about ten years now and have a hard time drinking regular tap water. It's not a snobby thing, just that my taste buds have acclimated to the point where the chlorine and after-taste in regular water bum me out and slightly burn my throat. Yeah, I really enjoy Reilly. I've read The Life of Reilly and Who's Your Caddy. Both entertaining reads. I like how he comes across as an Everyman. I'll have to pick the new one up....

Am I the only one who is not aware of this trebel 'zine? The blurb on "Shot in the Arm" was good, though. The only Radio Head song I believe I would know if I heard them on the radio is "Creep." I did see them on a late night talk show about 5 years ago and thought the tune they did was decent, but as much as I've tried I can not get into their music.

Yeah, Youkilis has definitely cooled off BA-wise but still is an asset. He's still hitting .358 this year with RISP. The last two years he's hit .342 and .366 BA in the second half. I thing he's pretty useless in the 5-hole where Francona has had him the last few months. Tonight, he's being moved back to the 2-spot where I think he can do a lot more damage. He's great at working pitch counts. I'll bet he starts putting up better numbers if he's kept in the 2-spot.

I saw this on another site and thought some of you would get a kick out of it. It's in regards to Wade Boggs. I agree that starting off, for someone with little no knowledge of the tunes, with live stuff wouldn't be the best jumping off point. Though to contradict myself I'd still recommend Reckoning as a great starting point. Ease your way. That Scarlet-> Fire from Hartford is decent but yeah, JG flubs a bit. At least you've got $78 to buy more junk with, though. I had two Sweet & Salty Toffee Nut Crunch bars and a Black Cherry Fresca. Normally I'd say it's time for some sugary dessert but in this case I suppose the "lunch" kind of was a dessert.

Underrated: Don't You Honey Me. People rag on the lyrics as simple but I think that's why I like it. I like the sing-songy/nursey rhyme/innocence angle to it. Just a nice little tune. The solo version JT does of I'm Always In Love. Probably my favorite single Wilco-associated piece of music. It's just got a magical quality to it for some reason for me. Like a long ago dream or something. Won't Let You Down. Again, simple lyrics but just a great little rhythm/rock vibe to it.

Picked this up yesterday. Pretty much everything Jorma does musically is gold and this new one is no exception.

The last movie I saw in a theater was Jaws. Actually, it was the kid's animated one with a flushing toilet or something. I slept through the entire thing. The last one I remember was Memoirs of a Geisha. F*cking riveting, too. I'd like to see Ratatouille.

I used to live in Dover and would occasionally drink in an Irish bar in town. That's all I've got, save that I do enjoy some Clancy Bros. tunes from time to time.

In case you haven't heard, it's a dressing. Not technically a mayo. You should try a dollop of it on something to test-drive it. Maybe on a piece of French bread or something similar.

I think my taste buds do an admirable job. Not a PhD.-education type job, but perhaps a local Tech. school-type job.

You know what would go good on a cold meat loaf sandwich? That's right. Miracle Whip. It's a dressing, not just a mayo.

My lunch was a Brisk iced tea. Delicious, too. I'm going to go ahead and defend Miracle Whip here. I like mayonnaise. A lot. Hellman's is the best of the mayonnaise products readily available. Miracle Whip is not technically a mayonnaise in the traditional sense, but rather a salad dressing. It bills itself as such, too. I find it has more personality to it than Hellman's. It tastes better. I believe Miracle Whip prides itself on containing markedly less fat than mayonnaises, too, yet this fact alone would never sway my decision on which product to use with a turkey sandwich, etc.

I've got no beef with watching the gal. Her drum part seems to be pretty much the same on any up-beat song, though. I realize she plays a simple scratch kit, but c'mon!
